Learn more about the history of the village during your stay; you may be surprised to hear that Dunwich was once the capital of East Anglia around 1500 years ago, or that it was at the centre of the wool trade through the Middle Ages. At the height of its popularity, Dunwich had an international port as large as London, 6 parish churches and a population of 3000.
