Young children at festival

Latitude Festival is an incredibly friendly destination for families! In fact, it was recognised as one of the friendliest festivals for families by Mumsnet and The Telegraph.

Even the youngest guests will find a wide range of activities to enjoy in the Kids Area. They can enjoy adventurous experiences such as puppetry, drama classes, pond dipping, astronomy, and even pizza making!

If you have very young children, it may be worth considering bringing a trolly/wagon to cart them around the festival in. Or if you need to save space in your car, you can pre-book a trolley rental from Mr. Trolley.

For older children aged 12 and up who want to explore something a bit cooler, the Inbetweener’s Area is hidden away in the woods. Teens will love the exciting assault courses featuring nets and zip wires high up in the trees, where they can learn wildlife survival skills.

Plus, they can join in music, media, and technology workshops. With so much to offer, Latitude Festival 2024 is the perfect family-friendly destination for a fun and memorable experience!

Now let’s talk about food and drink!

Additional things to do during your stay in Suffolk

While you are visiting, perhaps, you’d like to enjoy one of the many coastal walks in Suffolk. One of the most popular walking routes is the Suffolk Coast Path, which covers 60 miles from Felixstowe to Lowestoft.

The walk passes through the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This area covers 150 square miles in East Anglia and includes wildlife-rich wetlands, ancient heaths, shingle beaches and historic towns and villages.

Another tremendous coastal walk in Suffolk is the Southwold to Covehithe Walk. This offers a spectacular contrast between the bright beach huts of Southwold and the beautifully bleak landscape of Covehithe.
