Still going strong after 25 years, The Lighthouse restaurant in Aldeburgh boasts an A la carte, lunch and pre-cinema menu. Offering a relaxed approach to eating out, they pride themselves on sourcing local produce wherever possible.

From fish straight from the North Sea and juicy steaks from Norfolk and Suffolk stock, their delicious food has won them a Michelin Star.

Open seven days a week for lunch from midday to 3pm and dinner 6pm to 9.30pm.

Owned by George Pell, the former Managing Director of famous Soho restaurant L’Escargot, The Suffolk is one of the finest Aldeburgh restaurants. Home to a 60-cover dining room and a rooftop terrace complete with stunning sea views, dining here is a real treat.
