Seawall Cottage at Aldeburgh

Seawall Cottage has undergone an extensive refurbishment to create a stylish sleep 6 property. On the ground floor there is a large open plan kitchen/diner, shower room and spacious living room leading out into the patio garden. On the first floor there are three spacious bedrooms, one with en-suite and separate shower room. Seawall Cottage is in the heart of Aldeburgh, complete with courtyard garden and private parking space.

Ground Floor
Entering through the door into the spacious kitchen/dining space, with wooden flooring flowing into the living room.

Kitchen/Diner
This newly refurbished light and spacious room is the perfect space to entertain, with stylish stone worktop kitchen with double Neff oven and gas five ring hob, built in dishwasher and retro gorenje fridge. The kitchen is locally made by Heritage Coast Kitchens. Within the centre of the room is a beautiful wooden dining table with 6 vibrant yellow chairs.

Living Room
The perfect space to enjoy long leisurely days both during the winter with the beautiful wood-burning stove, and also in the summer time with the patio doors leading out into the pretty patio garden. There is a large L-shaped sofa, an upholstered chair, coffee table and wall-mounted TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and catch up TV as well as live satellite TV with over 100 channels. (Please note you will need your own Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts)

Ground Floor Shower Room/Cloak Room
Perfect for when you have spent the day at the beach, with walk in shower cubical, WC and wash basin. There is also a washing machine for guests use.

First Floor
Leading up the carpeted stairs onto the first floor landing, with three bedrooms and shower room.

Master Bedroom
With views out onto the High Street, this spacious room has a king size bed, with bedside tables and lamps. There is a large chest of drawers with mirror above for your belongings.

En-suite Bathroom
With a bath, WC and wash basin.

Double Bedroom
With views of the pretty garden. This room consists of a double bed with bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers for your belongings and wall mirror.

Twin Bedroom
With twin beds, with trunk style table in-between with decorative lamps and a chest of drawers for your belongings.

Family Shower Room
With large walk in shower, WC and wash basin with mirror above.

Outside
At the rear of the property is a pretty patio garden with a table, parasol and chairs, which catches the afternoon and evening sunshine, perfect for dining alfresco. At the front of the property there is car parking for one car.

This self-catering Aldeburgh holiday cottage is equipped with gas central heating, a wood burning stove (with wood provided during the winter months), TV with FreeSat, DVD player, gas hob and double electric oven, BBQ, fridge with freezer unit, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a phone for incoming calls only. Wifi is available.

There is off-road car parking for one car on the entrance drive with an electric car charger installed for guests with electric cars.

Seawall Cottage is located at the north end of Aldeburgh's High Street, close to the cinema and popular Lighthouse restaurant. The rest of Aldeburgh's shops, restaurants and art galleries are a short stroll away and the beach is around 150 yards from the house.

Sorry, no smoking, pets or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property. The owner feels this cottage may not be suitable for active toddlers (steep stairs and stone steps in garden) and is marketed as sleeping 5 + 1 as one double bedroom with standard double suitable as children’s room. There is no stair gate at the property.
