Rippleway at Walberswick

Rippleway is and exceptionally spacious detached house with large living/dining room which opens onto the garden; a family room and sunny kitchen with additional utility room – perfect for dumping beach gear in with another door to the garden! All the bedrooms are a good size; there’s a twin room on the ground floor with a family bathroom and separate cloakroom close by; the remainder of the accommodation is on the first floor with a master bedroom and en suite shower room with under floor heating; plus twin and king size bedrooms close to a family shower room.

Walberswick is a conservation village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a stunning sweeping beach, marshlands and heathland just a short walk from Rippleway. Two superb pubs, tearooms and gift shops around the quaint village green are all close by and the house itself is located down a private drive and has ample parking.

Ground floor


Guests are welcomed into a porch, with a small room at the side for coats, footwear and beach gear. A second door opens into a spacious hall with doors leading to the family room, living/dining room, kitchen, ground floor bedroom, cloakroom, bathroom and the staircase.

Living/dining room

Super sunny south facing room with French windows opening onto the garden for the summer months and an open fire to keep you warm in the winter. The room’s furnished with a selection of sofas and chairs for relaxing, as well as a table and chairs for dining. There is free WiFi and a flat screen TV, DVD player and iPod docking station for your entertainment, plus a bookcase with good choice of reading material and some games.

Family room

This double aspect room is designed for relaxing in and enjoying entertainment provided with a smart TV, blu ray player, smart TV & blu ray player.


A spacious light room with terracotta tiled floor and south facing window overlooking the garden. Equipment includes a fridge and separate freezer, a Rangemaster, free standing microwave and flat screen TV.

Utility room

Conveniently next to the kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, sink and door to the garden.

Twin bedroom

Lovely large room with bay window overlooking the garden and twin beds, a chest of drawers, generous wardrobe, bedside tables and a chair.

First Floor

A door opens from the hall onto the carpeted stairs leading to the first floor landing with the three bedrooms and family shower room opening off it.

This spacious bedroom has a king size bed with wooden frame, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a side table.

En suite shower room

Modern fully tiled with under floor heating, corner shower cubicle, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail and velux window giving natural light.

King bedroom

A big bright bedroom at the front of the house with a king size bed and bedside tables, chest of drawers and built in cupboard with hanging rail.

Twin bedroom

East facing spacious room overlooking the garden with twin beds, bedside tables, good sized wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Family shower room

This light shower room has a corner shower cubicle, wash basin set into a vanity unit, heated towel rail and WC.


Guests can park in the driveway where there is space for two cars. A path from the drive leads round the house to the utility room door and double doors for the living room.

Rippleway’s south facing garden is almost a third of an acre, mostly laid to lawn surrounded by well-established hedges, shrubs and mature trees giving almost total privacy. There’s a large patio area, furnished with a table and eight chairs – ideal for dining alfresco.

Whats Included?

All prices include WiFi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This lovely detached self-catering holiday home is equipped with oil central heating and appliances include three TVs, one with blu ray, and ipod docking station. The kitchen is well equipped with a Rangemaster, microwave, fridge and separate freezer and flat screen TV. A dishwasher, washing machine and dryer are located in the utility room.

A travel cot, high chair and stair gate are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.

A well-behaved dog is welcome downstairs. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.

Due to the thatched roof on the summer house guests are asked not to have BBQs at Rippleway.

Sorry, no smoking or unaccompanied teenagers.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Infants are very welcome at Rippleway, but not in addition to the maximum group size of 8. A total party of 8 guests, including infants is accepted and most welcome
