The property

You know you're somewhere special the moment you step into the oak framed barn with massive vaulted living room, giving a fantastic open plan space for socialising at any time of the year - cosy wood burner for the winter and easy access to the patio for the summer months! Sleeping in the stunning galleried bedroom is certainly a unique experience for most guests and, for those who prefer more privacy, there's a second enclosed bedroom on the ground floor, next to the chic modern bathroom with luxuriously deep bath and walk-in shower. The barn has an enclosed lawn with a private terrace running along the back where you can enjoy meals in the fresh air, surrounded Suffolk countryside. Ground Floor The majority of the ground floor is occupied by the massive living space with partially carpeted wooden stairs rising to the galleried bedroom and an inner hall with doors to the guest bedroom and bathroom. There is also a door from the living area to the garden, great for dining outside in summer! The living space has a large travertine stone floor. Living Space This amazing double height area is cleverly designed with a modern well-equipped kitchen running along one wall with an electric oven, and dining table and chairs conveniently next to it for those you prefer to eat at home. Two sofas with a quirky upcycled coffee table are well-positioned for watching entertainment on the flat-screen TV next to a roaring wood burner, or for catching the summer breezes through the patio door. There's also a desk for those who enjoy writing (or need to do a spot of work!), Ground Floor Bedroom This room will be stylishly furnished with bedside units, a wardrobe, and super king zip and link bed that can be set up as a twin on request. Bathroom A super modern bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle, WC, washbasin, and heated towel rail is being fitted. First Floor The gorgeous galleried bedroom with wooden floor and glass balustrade, has a king-size bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, chair with footstool, desk and additional chair for those needing to do a spot of work. Outside If peace and quiet is what you seek then this is the holiday home for you; sitting in a rural spot (yet within easy reach of the fashionable Suffolk coast) surrounded by farmland with wildlife and resident Guinea Fowls to keep you company. A wide patio, furnished with table, chairs and BBQ, runs along the back of the barn so you can truly unwind and enjoy meals in the open air. There’s also a good-sized area of lawn fenced off where you can enjoy kicking a ball around, or your dog can roam safely; and freedom to enjoy the larger garden too. There’s ample parking as well and secure storage for bikes in outbuildings. The EV charging point provides complimentary charge for guests electric vehicles overnight. The barn and attached garden are secure. Dogs should not be allowed on furniture. There is an outside tap and hose for washing down after muddy walks. There is warm water in the big sink in the outhouse to the right of the drive as you enter
