Manor House Barn, Peasenhall

A very beautiful restoration, well set out and very comfortably furnished.

The location is peaceful and picturesque. Whilst the owners are on site, they were very helpful whilst being inobtrusive. Would love to stay again.

Just a fantastic property.

We arrived with a friendly welcome from the owner Jeremy. A very high standard barn conversion. Wonderful open plan main hall with Sitting / Dining room and kitchen. We used the downstairs bedroom which has everything you will need. The location is excellent think we saw 1 car pass by during our stay. Yes the roads are quite narrow but that’s part of the experience. I cant comment on how secure the grounds are as we don’t have animals but they are enclosed. Had to open the gate to free a partridge that decided to pay a visit. The wildlife around is amazing from bats to muntjac deer. Would highly recommend Manor House Barn and would like to return one day. Thanks Andrew & Melissa

Owner Jeremy sent me a text ahead of our stay to check if we had any requirements for our stay, giving us a warm welcome when we arrived & then leaving us alone to get on with our holiday but was available if we had any queries.

The barn was a cool haven from the extreme heat that the area endured for much of our holiday. We would definitely consider a return visit.

The property was perfect in every way, very comfortable, fabulous area, really secure garden for our dog & Jeremy was a great host, helpful & easy to contact if needed, we are definitely going to book again ASAP.

The Barn was very comfortable had all the amenities including sky tv channels, a very well equipped kitchen. The bathroom was clean and modern and the bedrooms cosy. We wouldnt hesitate in recommending Manor House Barn for your breaks.

Stunning property, perfect garden for our 9 year old cockapoo, enclosed and safe.

All the amenities you need, a well equipped kitchen. Lovely outside space that gets the sun most of the day. A couple of sun loungers would be perfect for a little afternoon snooze. Jeremy is a great host, good communication, checking we were ok and had everything we needed. The welcome book had lots of useful information in it. He also was able to kindly offer an early check in and late check out because there was no one in on the Sunday. Which is such a bonus. It was very kind of him to offer the extra time. I would definitely recommend this great property to my family and friends.

We loved Manor House Barn.

It had everything we needed (two friends plus three dogs). Very comfortable, especially the beds. Lovely quiet location but lots to see and do in surrounding area and a nice secure garden for the dogs. Jeremy, the owner, was extremely helpful. We have stayed in a lot of properties but this is the first one we’d happily return to.

What an incredible property and wonderful stay.

Truly breathtaking. A perfect place to relax and enjoy. 3 nights went far too quickly. Perfect base for exploring around Suffolk as its close to lots of places Southwold, Alberburgh, Framlingham to name but a few. But also a perfect place to simply be as the barn is so beautiful. Really well appointed, spotless clean, and a lovely welcome pack on arrival. Amazing host, very welcoming and friendly and the added bonus of a late check out was lovely too. Will definitely be back.

Our third stay here and we love it.

The barn is in a lovely rural area, ideal for dog walks straight from the door. We have visited Suffolk many times from our home in Norfolk and therefore have seen much of the County. Sometimes it is wonderful to stay in places where you can just "Be". Manor House Barn is one of those lovely, most relaxing places. Jeremy, the owner, is on hand for anything you may need and is kind and generous with both goodies on arrival and supply of logs for the wood burner in Winter. We highly recommend a stay here.

Everything and more! We had been looking for a quiet but luxury escape, and with security for the dogs - this ticked every box! Very secure garden, fully equipped kitchen, attention to detail cannot be faulted! Will definitely be booking again!

Had a lovely week in Manor House Barn, one of the best holiday lets we’ve stayed in.

Comfy bed, great facilities, welcoming and helpful hosts. Great to be able to charge our EV overnight. Garden is very secure for our Houdini of a dog, a lot of holiday let’s say they are secure but aren’t always fully secure and this is. Lots of nice pubs/restaurants, beaches, walks, within a short drive. We will definitely be back!

A stunning property with a very relaxing space.

It felt like home from home and we enjoyed the many comforts it provided. The outdoor space was excellent for our 3 dogs and its location was close to many points of interest. Jeremy was a very kind and helpful host and we would highly recommend this property.

Our stay at manor farm barn was exceptional.

On arriving we had such a lovely warm welcome from the host Jeremy. Told us all the best places to see, eat and buy all your fresh produce. Emmerdale farm shop is a must, they meat & currys are exceptional value for money (we even bought some to bring home) The property is beautifully set out very lovingly furnished with everything you might need. Warm & cosy throughout even better when the log burner crackling away on an evening, also the bed & sofa's are very comfortable which is an added bonus. The gardens were completely enclosed & safe for our 3 cocker spaniels we could even wash their muddy paws before entering which was handy. The outdoor seating area was beautifully lit up on an evening, so peaceful.. The location was perfect for exploring stunning Suffolk. We have returned home with some wonderful memories, thankyou so much Suffolk & Jeremy and for the welcome gifts on arrival plus Jeremy's jams is a must MmmMmmmm. Hope to see you next year ❤️

A lovely converted barn in a very quiet location.

It was equipped with everything you could need and the owners were on site if you needed them but were not intrusive at all. It is highly recommended by us and we had a lovely stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Manor House Barn with our two dogs.

We found the bed very comfy as were the sofas. The barn is beautifully fitted out with a lovely deep bath and nice powerful shower. Jeremy is a wonderful host, on hand if needed and has included everything within the barn to make it an extremely comfortable stay. The barn is situated within beautiful peaceful surroundings with plenty of wildlife to be seen including guinea fowl, hares and rabbits. The safe enclosed garden was great for the dogs. Thank you Jeremy for the welcome pack and the local honey. We can highly recommend the barn.

Beautiful property in a great location.

Had everything we needed and the secure garden for the dogs was great. The owners were available if we needed anything but not intrusive. The welcome pack was well received. The shower is powerful and the bath lovely and deep. The water is so soft in the area I hardly needed moisturiser! I found the bed a bit firm for me and the loo needed to be flushed twice every use. These are v small issues and overall we would return.

Manor House Barn is a lovely spacious and well presented property.

There is plenty of light, so you can enjoy the views & the enclosed garden is a plus. It was very comfortable, with crisp cotton sheets and all the facilities we needed. Our host, Jeremy, was attentive and very helpful. I would happily recommend this property.

Staying at Manor House Farm is a joy, it’s our third visit and it feels like coming home.

Beautiful countryside and so peaceful and quiet. Surrounded by nature - hares, pheasants, guinea fowl and deer. We are made to feel very welcome. Having an EV it’s also wonderful to have on site charging

Jeremy was a wonderful host on hand to make our time at the barn perfect, making sure we had everything we needed for the baby. The property was very clean, well maintained and very comfortable with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful setting, eating at local pubs and long country walks with loads of places to explore. We definitely want to return for another perfect stay.

Great facilities and good location for exploring Suffolk. The barn is a unique property and was always very warm despite the cold weather. There is an EV charger on site dedicated for the barn guests which worked flawlessly for overnight charging. Jeremy is a great host. A lovely welcome package and endless supply of fuel for the log burner was very much appreciated. Highly recommended.

Wow, what an incredible place this is.

This is our second time visiting and we could not recommend this enough. The barn is decorated to such a high standard with the most comfortable sofas and bed. The log burner on winter nights is so relaxing and warms the place up nicely. It's immaculately clean with no signs of wear & tear. Very dog and baby friendly too, we didn't have to bring a travel cot thanks to Jeremy being so accommodating. Of all the places we have stayed, this is by far the best. Jeremy does so much to make your stay perfect, he is an exceptional host and you can see why Manor Barn has won awards as it's just fantastic. The setting is perfect, you're in the middle of nowhere, it's so peaceful but you're not too far from a local town for groceries, pubs etc. Do not hesitate in booking, you will not regret it! We look forward to our 3rd visit in the future.

Manor barn is a lovely place to stay , it’s quiet and peaceful, waking up to the birds in the garden was nice .

I would recommend this property to others to stay , it’s clean and plenty of room so I could move around easily in my wheelchair. I would like to say the mattress need changing as not very comfortable. Jeremy was a great host nothing was to much trouble, he was very happy to help us with what ever help we needed. So I would definitely go back . Suffolk is a great place to visit , and southwold is so nice, great fish and chips ,thanks for a great holiday at manor barn.

Jeremy was a fantastic host, extremely helpful and very welcoming. We loved the peace and quiet, and being able to walk from the door with our dog. Lovely pubs nearby for good food, and great area to explore.

Everything about it is carefully thought through, so as soon as we arrived we felt as though we were valued and welcome. The peaceful, completely tranquil setting is perfect. Beds comfortable and with crisp quality bedding. The bathroom is perfect. Jeremy is a delightful man, he goes the extra mile to ensure that his guests are made to feel welcome….he even brought me over a guitar! We will definitely return…

Our second stay at this fabulous accommodation.

This time we took our daughter and son-in-law with us and they were equally impressed. We loved the little extras like the emergency torches & the board games and it’s great that it’s dog friendly too. It’s so nice to find somewhere that’s peaceful. Definitely want to visit again. Excellent hosts and we didn’t want for anything during our stay there.

Lovely characterful barn with all the essentials for our stay.

Comfortable bedrooms and well equipped kitchen. Lots of information to help with sightseeing. Beautiful enclosed, secure garden to enjoy (especially by our dog Cooper). We spent many a relaxing hour in the garden enjoying the peaceful countryside. Great walks from the barn along quiet lanes. Jeremy our host was very accommodating and went out of his way to make our stay extremely pleasurable. We are already planning our return next year.

Wonderful stay.

Close to ample points of interest for days out. The hosts thought of the little extras that you may need eg torches, fly spray , the list goes on. The garden was extremely secure for our dog and she loved sitting outside watching the wildlife- even on a rainy day or two. It was bliss to sleep in luxurious surroundings with no road noise at any point of the day. The welcome tray was thoughtfully put together and our hosts communication was exceptional.

Property was fantastic. Wasn’t happy about having to ask to use the washing machine! We love spiders but I think they need some attention. Overall we had a really lovely stay in this property, and would recommend it.

A wonderful holiday retreat in rural Suffolk!

Manor House Barn is a striking, beautifully restored building providing a historic / rural setting, yet with every modern comfort and convenience. The accomodation and facilities are perfect for a family of 4, in our case with two large dogs, who had the benefit of a good-sized enclosed garden to play in. The setting is a mile or so from a lovely village providing basic facilities, with Waitrose and more facilities about 15 minutes away. Jeremy is a very considerate host, with excellent communication before and during the trip, on hand if there were any problems (there weren't!), but respectful of privacy and happy to just let us "be", which is our preference! The location is good for exploring the Suffolk coastline, being only about 10 mins from the A12, yet completely peaceful. We had a thoroughly relaxing break, some days not leaving the property as it was so comfortable and homely. We would thoroughly recommend, and would hope to return for another stay some day, as this is a high-quality and great value holiday home.

The Barn is beautiful and just as described - set in a lovely quiet position with lots of footpaths close to the house and in a prime position in Suffolk allowing you to visit all areas of the county . The barn was excellent for our dogs with an enclosed garden for them to explore. Jeremy the owner lives next door and was very helpful when needed. The barn is well furnished and contains everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend this lovely quirky very comfortable property.

Great stay in a beautiful remote location.

Plenty of interesting places to visit within a 30 to 45 minute drive - Southwold was our favourite. Accommodation is well equipped, very clean and extremely comfortable. Owners close at hand and welcoming with endless supply of logs for the open fire.

We stayed with our 1 year old and Labrador and it was a perfect base for our exploration of beautiful Suffolk. The host, Jeremy, was really welcoming. Communication both before and during our stay in was really good and helpful. The barn is even better than the photos. The most beautiful place we’ve stayed. The garden was perfect for the dog. Everything in the barn has been thought out and we felt really at home there. We were gutted to be leaving. Would definitely return in the future.

Beautiful barn

We were absolutely blown away when we walked into this beautiful Barn, even better than in the photos.

It was a real home from home, with everything you need. Jeremy & Lynne have thought of absolutely everything so that you have the most amazing time there. The log fire was awesome, so lovely and cozy in the evening, with Jeremy’s wood elves replenishing the log box as often as necessary. This place oozes character and whether you choose to do absolutely nothing but relax for the week (like us) or use it as a base, it’s the best choice you will ever make . Thanks Jeremy & Lynne x

The barn was equipped with everything that we needed and more, furnished beautifully and so comfortable. Loved the private and secure garden which was great for our dog and to enjoy meals outside. Perfect base for days out and exploring. Hosts were great too. We would love to return someday.

Manor House Barn had been given glowing reviews by previous guests and certainly lived up to them for us.

We immediately felt relaxed and at home. We had a lovely 10 days and rebooked for next year and can't wait !

Beautiful place to stay with dogs.

They were able to run free in the enclosed garden . The garden as well as the barn was extremely well equiped to make a stay as comfortable as possible with everything you could want provided as well as a few extras. We initially found locating the Manor House and Barn difficult because the sat nav tried to take us anywhere but the right place. Fortunately the kindly owner of the renowned butchers/delicatesion was very helpful and told us exactly where to go. The store/Post Office were friendly and the cafe served delicious food. The location was not too far from worthwhile places to visit. If you want to explore that area we would thoroughly recommend staying at the Manor Barn

Peaceful location and well positioned to explore the surrounding area. Jeremy (the owner) was extremely helpful and we did not have any issues at all during our week long stay. Our dogs particularly liked all of the open countryside surrounding the barn as well as the beautiful beaches at Southwold and Winterton on Sea. Thoroughly recommend you stay at MHB.

Wow, what a stunning barn!

Thank you so much Jeremy for allowing us to stay with our 2 dogs. The barn is finished to such a high standard, and is so cosy! Jeremy is by far the best host we have ever had when staying in a holiday cottage. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The garden is fully encolsed, so we had no worries of our dogs getting out. The location of the barn is stunning, in the middle of the countryside with beautiful views to look out on when you wake up. There was parking for our car and all the amenities you could need. Smart TV with Netflix, iPlayer, etc, so we never got bored when we wanted to relax at the barn one day. We couldn't reccomend this enough, we would love to return. You will not be dissapointed if you book this!

We had a wonderful stay with our two Dogs at Manor House Barn.

This is a fabulous Barn convention full of character, very comfortable with every convenience provided . Importantly to us it has a truly secure enclosed garden for the dogs and walks accessed immediately from the property plus an easy safe walk into Peasenhall which has a fantastic deli, cafe’s, and an interiors shop. Wonderful stay in this wonderful barn!

So remote and peaceful and beautiful night skies! Very well equipped and really safe for dogs having the fenced garden area. Would recommend to anyone. Had a truly delightful stay! My only feedback was there was no internet connection to the tv so we could only watch freeview and resorted to buying dvds to watch…we love nothing more than snuggling on the sofa of an evening and a smart tv with access to current viewing options would be an added bonus. But we appreciate not everyone would feel the need for this!
