Little Wissett at Aldeburgh

Little Wissett is a single storey self-catering property with massive open plan living space at the heart of it with sitting room leading through to the light and airy dining/sun room which has bifold doors to the patio - wonderful indoor/outdoor living. The well-equipped kitchen sits to one side with utility room and one of the bedrooms with modern family bathroom. A palatial master bedroom with luxurious en suite sits at the other side with two other bedrooms.

Positioned in a tranquil setting on the edge of Aldeburgh within a short walk to the town's vibrant High Street and beach, this recently renovated bungalow sits back from a relatively quiet road with a shingle drive providing parking for four cars. A huge enclosed rear garden is ideal for relaxing on the sunny patio furnished for al fresco dining and steps to the lawn, flanked by hedgerow fencing and mature trees, with a cute play house for 'little guests'.

Ground Floor
There's wood flooring through the majority of the property with a sleek marble floor in the dining area and carpet in the bedrooms.

Hall
You're welcomed into the hall with space for coats and footwear. Doors open to the living space, two of the bedrooms and the family bathroom accessed from the hall at the front of Little Wissett.

Living/Sun/Dining Space
A massive light and airy L-shaped room with large skylight and spotlighting, bi-folding doors opening out to the patio, plus an open brick fireplace making this a great place to socialise at any time of day or the year! A huge L shaped sofa is positioned so you can enjoy the 50" flat screen Smart TV from any angle, or play a game on the XBox with games provided. There's a comfy arm chair as well, a dresser, occasional tables and a second sitting area in the sun room with sofa and side tables.

The elegant dining table with designer chairs takes pride of place in the dining area which is next to the bi-folding doors and a large hatch through to the kitchen makes catering easy - inside or out!

Kitchen
The chef in the family's sure to enjoy cooking in this kitchen which has a wide range of timber wall and base units incorporating an integrated dishwasher, large fridge and freezer plus a state of the art Rangemaster double oven with extractor plus free standing microwave.

Utility Room
Additional space for beach gear etc. with easy access from the garden through a side door, equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bedroom One
A palatial dual aspect room overlooking the garden with fab upholstered super king bed positioned so you can watch the wide flat screen TV sitting on a chest of drawers. There's also ample storage in a wardrobe and bedside drawers.

En Suite Bathroom
Beautiful bathroom fitted with a corner bath and shower attachment plus a corner shower cubicle with overhead shower, wash basin in a vanity unit with storage below, WC, heated towel rail and natural light.

Bedroom Two
Sitting at the front of Little Wissett, this bedroom has a beautiful wooden king size bed with bedside drawers and a small chest of drawers, with a hook behind the door if you need to hang anything.

This detached self-catering holiday home is equipped with central heating and appliances include a Smart TV with X Box and Wifi. The kitchen is well equipped with an integrated dishwasher, large fridge and freezer plus a state of the art Rangemaster double oven with extractor. A hatch through to the dining space makes catering easy. There's also a BBQ for outdoor use.

A well-behaved dog is welcome. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.

This Suffolk holiday home is located on the outskirts of Aldeburgh's pebble beach with approx 15 minute walk into the heart of the picturesque seaside town with excellent restaurants, pubs, cafes and a wide range of independent shops, convenience stores, art galleries as well as huts along the beach where local fishermen sell their wares.

The picture-postcard village of Thorpeness and world renowned Snape Maltings are also great places to visit nearby. The area is excellent for cycling, sailing or golf and there are many interesting walks, including Hazelwood Marshes and the Sailors’ Path which starts approximately ten minutes walk from the house and boasts some of the finest lowland marsh and heathland scenery to be found in the British Isles.
