    “This was our 2nd stay at Harbour Lights and it didn't disappoint.”

    The fact that the weather was absolutely glorious helped but the house itself feels very welcoming and safe. Everything you need is there and in a very good , spotlessly clean condition. Books and games to keep you occupied if the weather was bad. I had arranged for a delivery of food from Sainsburys which arrived Friday shortly after we had booked in. We ordered a takeaway for delivery on the Saturday evening from the local chinese which was delicious. We look forward to coming back next ...

The property

Harbour Lights is a truly stunning, newly refurbished pet friendly holiday home, positioned in one of the best locations in Southwold on the sandy dunes with unspoilt views from every window. The property is set on two levels. On the ground floor you have a large living room with adjoining kitchen space, complete with wood-burning stove and beautiful views across the dunes. There are two bedrooms, two shower rooms and a bathroom, with an additional two bedrooms and Jack and Jill shower room on the first floor. There is a wonderful landscaped garden mostly laid to lawn, with a patio area to make the most of the views of the sea and sand dunes. At the front of the property there is also parking for five cars. Ground Floor Beautiful wood flooring runs through the entrance hall, leading onto the main entertainment areas. Living Room The most perfect room to enjoy all year round. In the winter months enjoy the roaring wood-burning stove, and in the summer months open up the patio doors to bring the outdoors inside, but most of all enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views all year round. In the living room there are two luxurious sofa's with an additional leather chair, coffee table and stylish rug. The feature point in this room is the wood-burning stove, with a 50'' Smart TV for your entertainment. Kitchen-Dining Area The most beautiful kitchen to whip up a culinary delight, all whilst taking in the gorgeous view! This fabulous room includes all of the mod cons you could need including a double oven, four ring induction hob, fridge with three drawer freezer beneath, dishwasher, microwave and most importantly for coffee lovers - a Nespresso Machine. There is a bespoke made wooden table which comfortably seats 8, with five chairs and large bench seat. Utility Room A useful space, with a washing machine, tumble dyer and additional worktop space. Shower Room Ideally located as you come into the front of the property, perfect for hopping into after a day at the beach. With a large walk in corner rainfall shower, wash basin and WC. Bedroom 1 Located at the front of the property, this luxurious room features a Zip/Link Super-King bed, which can be set up as twin beds on request. There are two bedside tables with decorative lamps and a double walk in wardrobe for your belongings. (Please note this room is most suited as a super-king) En-suite Bathroom A bright and beautiful space to unwind, featuring a bath with over-head shower, wash basin with mirror above, WC and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2 Positioned at the front of the house, this tranquil room oozes style. There are twin zip link beds which can be made up as a king size on request. There is ample storage provided with a large chest of drawers and wardrobe. (Please note this room is most suited as a twin) En-suite Shower Room Featuring a walk in shower cubical, wash basin and WC. First Floor Carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor landing with two bedrooms and Jack and Jill Bathroom. Bedroom 3 With arguably some of the best views in the house! Panoramic views of the beach front all from the comfort of the Super-King Zip/Link bed, which can be made up as twin beds on request, you can even take it to the next level and open up the Juliet balcony door/windows to listen to the calming sound of the sea. There are two side tables with decorative lamps, along with a chest of drawers and hanging rail for your belongings, along with a luxurious chair. (Please notes this room is most suitable as a super king) Jack and Jill Bathroom With lockable doors to both bedroom 2 and 3, this room features a shower cubical, wash basin and WC. Bedroom 4 With views across the front of the house, across the marshlands, this room has twin Zip/Link beds with a chest of drawers and hanging rail for your belongings, and can be set up as a super king size on request. (Please note this room is most suited as a twin) Outside The beach is your oyster here, with a gate leading directly out onto the dunes. The landscaped garden is mostly laid to lawn, with two patio areas with wooden table and chairs and sun loungers, the perfect space to enjoy dining alfresco.

SOUTHWOLD

Lowestoft 13.4 miles; Ipswich 35.1 miles

Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
