The hall flows through to the attractive bespoke kitchen at the back of the house has a separate dining area with door to the courtyard and wet room – ideal for a shower after the beach. The cottage is opposite Bartholomew Green with St Edmunds’ Church, considered to be one of Suffolk’s finest churches, to the side and both can be seen from the beautiful bay windows in the living room and the master bedroom on the first floor. Additional accommodation consists of a single room and zip and link bed which can be made into twin or king-size with the bathroom located for easy access from all three bedrooms.
A secluded courtyard style garden at the back has a bistro-style table and four chairs. There is no allocated parking for the cottage, however you can park for an hour opposite or in a bay by the church which is unrestricted on a first come basis.

Apostle Cottage is tucked away in a cul de sac next to the beautiful St Edmunds Church with Bartholomew Green in front making this one of the quieter locations in central Southwold. To the rear of the property is a small courtyard area from where you can see both the church and the lighthouse. Pedestrian access to adjoining properties.
There’s no allocated parking for the cottage, however there are usually spaces outside the cottage restricted to an hour’s parking and there are bays next to the church with unrestricted parking on a first come basis.

Apostle Cottage is located next to Bartholomew Green in the heart of Southwold with easy access to the lovely sandy beach adorned with a string of colourful beach huts that lead along to the fun filled Pier; the historic lighthouse; Sole Bay Inn and the home of Adnams Brewery, with a pleasant whiff of malt competing with the sea air.
The holiday cottage is a few minutes walk from Southwold high street which has a host of award winning pubs, restaurants and cafes, plus a strong local retail offering with fashion favourites and food outlets including bakeries, delicatessens, butchers and convenience stores.
There is a pretty walk from the harbour over a footbridge to the picture-postcard village of Walberswick, home to two good pubs (The Anchor and The Bell) and a long sandy beach. Fresh fish can be bought from the fishermen’s huts along the harbour.
The area boasts a wide variety of attractions, amongst which are the renowned RSPB bird sanctuary Minsmere, many countryside and coastal walks and the internationally renowned Aldeburgh Music Festival.
