    “A lovely cottage for a break, and a really nice village.”

    Good corner shop, and lots of old buildings including church. Pub was good for an evening meal. BBQ was small but we managed for 4 adults. Nice outdoor space, quite private. However, noisy on the A12, but quieter at night, surprisingly.

Cavan Cottage is nestled in Yoxford close to both Southwold and Aldeburgh in Suffolk. Cavan Cottage offers an inviting holiday home spread across two floors and is perfect for family and friends to come together and enjoy their self-catering holiday. The kitchen/dining area is a great area for to come together and cook up a storm, whilst the dining table allows the rest of a party to pull up a seat and keep the chef entertained. The dining table offers a great space to enjoy quality meal times or games nights. Upstairs there are three sumptuous bedrooms, offering a welcoming space to retreat to, complete with family bathroom and separate shower room. Outside there is a wonderful garden area for guests to enjoy, within easy access of the kitchen. Boasting a patio area with space to BBQ or enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the sun on the sun loungers. Ground Floor: Kitchen/Dining Room A fantastic spacious room opening out onto the garden area. This room offers space for the whole family to come together. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, housing two electric ovens with five rings and extractor, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge-freezer, wine fridge, kettle and toaster. There is ample seating provided with a large breakfast bar with four stools, as well as a dining table comfortably seating six. In addition the dining area has a space to sit and chat or to simply read a good book. Sitting Room A warmly decorated space to retreat too at the end of the day, complete with two three seater sofa. There is a Smart TV with DVD player and CD player for guests to enjoy, or make the most of the games provided and enjoy a games evening. Based in the heart of the famous Suffolk Heritage Coast, the pretty village of Yoxford is renowned for its antique shops and also has a good selection of shops, including a well-stocked general store. The village also has a good local pub, The King's head. Located in an area known as 'The Garden of Suffolk', it boasts acres of park and farmland and is mainly surrounded by fruit farms, with three country houses on its boundaries. Ideally situated on the edge of the A12, Yoxford enjoys excellent links to both North and South Suffolk, making touring this wonderful region very easy.
