Unfortunately the heat was overwhelming, and window openings were very restricted. I also fixed the inner window blind in the bedroon, next to the head of the bed as it had become entwined around the top hinge, which restricted how much it would drop. Alos the biggest problem was the total lack of decent window coverings, the existing ones let a lot of light in and we found ourselves woken at sunrise, this really needs attention as soon as possible a big minus for us. Finally the owners really need to consider Air Conditioning as night time temperatures were around 26 degrees, far too hot for a good nights sleep, especially be woken so early. It would also be nice to get a response from you or the owner, as this never happens.

We are sorry to learn that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations.
However, we would like to clarify a few points in response to your comments
Regarding the heat in the building we have been experiencing a heatwave across the country, due to the regulations we are unable to install a permanent air conditioning system, but since your last visit we have purchased a mobile air conditioning unit along with the two fans that were at the property when you arrived.
With respect to your comments about the early morning light entering the room. The Penthouse is fitted with two blackout blinds behind the front blinds specifically to minimise light entering the room.
Please accept our sincere apologies for you having to alter the cord to the blind.
You also Mentioned that the windows did not open fully, please note the restricted opening is a deliberate health and safety measure.
The property is a top floor Penthouse
The window restrictors are installed to comply with safety regulations and are not a defect or maintenance issue
