“This is a great retreat for 2, secluded, quiet and private.”
The garden and patio, is perfect to sit and relax, plus if you have four legged fur babies, it is totally secure. The 'outdoor' bath is very relaxing, even when raining, as it is under cover, with soft lighting to relax for a soak at the end of day. There is also a large indoor walk in shower with great water pressure, an absolute must for a lovely shower, if the bath isn't your fancy.
Although the location is secluded, there are numerous lovely walks from the cottage. With a great network of well signed footpaths that meander for miles in all directions in this lovely part of rural Suffolk.
Travel is easy, as the roads are so quiet. Framlingham, along with its famous castle is only a short drive, as are the lovely town of Eye and the stunningly beautiful Helmingham Hall Gardens, along with its bespoke shops and lovely cafe. The nearby Victoria pub, along with friendly staff, is excellent for food and real ales (it even has its own brewery).
David, the very friendly owner, is discrete but there if needed (we didn't but met him on our dog walks). We will certainly be making a return visit in the near future.
