The house itself was great, very clean, and a wonderful space for us to relax and enjoy our time together. Louise was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond for us. Not only was she very accommodating by allowing us both an early check-in and a late check-out, but she also put up a birthday banner and left a lovely note for my mum’s birthday, such a thoughtful touch that she truly appreciated. To top it all off, Louise went the extra mile after we departed. We accidentally left a hat behind, and she was kind enough to post it right back to us. Fantastic house, excellent hospitality, and a great experience overall. I highly recommend staying here!

Louise was easy to communicate with and very friendly and flexible.

She allowed us a later checkout on Sunday as we wanted to grab lunch before travelling home. The house was just lovely, so quirky and full of fun things to do. (We had pretty bad weather). We had my 84 year old mother with us and Louise was happy for her to sleep downstairs as she may have had difficulty navigating the stairs on her own in the night. There was plenty of space for our family to spread out. The dogs loved the large garden and were safe as it was fenced. All in all we had a lovely family break.

It is a really special, beautiful old house in a great setting. We didn't go far at all as we were so happy in the garden. Nice, local walks. Good playground in the village for the kids. Louise was very responsive and welcoming in her communication. We loved it!

The property is absolutely beautiful, gorgeously decorated and in the most perfectly scenic location. Louise, the host, was just incredible. She was so responsive to any questions I had, very accommodating to make us feel welcome, and went above and beyond to make our special weekend that little bit more special. I could not fault our experience at all and would already love to come back. Thank you Louise for everything!

The loveliest hosts I have ever had on Airbnb!

Stayed for a long weekend with friends to celebrate my 30th birthday and Louise went above and beyond to make us comfortable, including flexible check in/out times, birthday decorations hung up, local walking routes shared and wood and drinks stocked up. The home itself is super characterful, cosy, and spacious. We spent lots of time relaxing in the sunroom and around the firepit, and our dogs loved running round the garden. Very comfortable beds and all the amenities you would need supplied. A wonderful stay with lots of little touches!

Beautiful place - it is "lived in" but its history and decor is magical - huge space great for winters with all the roaring fires or summers with the wonderful garden.

This place absolutely blew us away.

Went with 6 of us for my 30th and was the most atmospheric and beautiful building I've ever stayed in. Louise was so responsive and lovely, and really went the extra mile wherever she could. We are already talking about booking again!
