Its location is quiet,rural and very well placed to explore the many Suffolk places of interest. Friendly owners.

We have just had a lovely stay at Harvest Moon.

It was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It was also really well situated for exploring Suffolk and the coast. Thank you to the owners for the welcome package and being both discreet and available when needed.

Had a lovely few days at Harvest Moon and wish I could have stayed longer!

Spotlessly clean and well equipped cottage with helpful but unobtrusive owners and in a quiet location. Enjoyed exploring the Suffolk coastline and many historic locations and properties and visit to Aldeburgh Festival. Would stay again if in the area.

Having been let down by another property on the morning of the holiday we managed to find this property and lucky for us we did. With only a couple of hours notice Lenny & Teresa accepted our booking. The cottage is one of the best that we have stayed in. Its well equipped with everything you need also we were there during the recent heatwave and had serveal fans, which were came in very handy. Thank you to our delightful hosts.

Harvest Moon cottage is a lovely roomy and comfortable cottage just outside Grundisburgh.

We were made very welcome by the owners with a lovely bottle of wine and biscuits. The local pub, The Dog, had a very good menu and some good lagers and beers

The accommodation was as described - spacious, clean, well furnished, and with a much larger outdoor area than we had expected.

Teresa and Lennie were on hand if we needed them and left a good welcome pack.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break and hope to return at some point!

One of the best properties we have stayed in.

The kitchen was particularly well equipped with enough crockery that you didn't have to keep doing the washing up! We had great weather which meant we were able to enjoy playing french cricket in the garden. We also enjoyed watching some of the DVD's and playing the games provided. A great place to stay to explore this area, which we hadn't visited before. Pleasant days spent at the local National Trust properties, Aldeburgh, Ispwich and a walk from Dennington to Framlingham. Lovely cafe at Dennington called The Neathouse. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had the most delightful stay in this cosy and well appointed cottage blessed by some wonderful Spring weather in this lovely countryside.

. You can see that these are thoughtful hosts who want to anticipate your needs. Cannot praise this enough. Most comfortable beds, sofas etc and lots of thought had been put in to decorations that fitted both the style and area. Kitchen so well equipped, easy parking. Plenty of books and local information. Recommended visit to nearby Sutton Hoo ship burial site and boat recreation rebuild in Woodbridge. Definitely a top stay!

Harvest Moon is a wonderful cottage.

It has a home-from-home feeling, was warm and cosy and the location is perfect, surrounded by peaceful countryside.  Our hosts, Teresa and Lennie were very warm and welcoming, we couldn't have hoped for anything better ... and the wine, biscuits and milk on arrival were very welcome. Can't wait to return

There is everything you would need in the property and the large garden was a bonus, especially in the evenings for watching lovely sunsets. We had plenty of room with 2 adults and two teenagers. Owners really friendly and on hand if needed.

The listing should indicate that the single rooms are tiny and not really suitable for adults, they are more suitable for a family with children.

Our friends found difficulty accessing their luggage. The fan in the bathroom did not appear to be working and the room fogged up with each shower. It was a very suitable modern unit, The dishwasher was appreciated.

This is an excellent property with everything we could have wanted - one of the best we have spent our holiday's in.

It's also within easy reach of Grundisburgh with it's village shop and Woodbridge with a great variety of shop's, pub's, cafe's and the 'Tide Mill'. It's also within half an hour of the seaside at Aldeburgh - a very interesting and picturesque place to visit.

Delightful Cottage, very cosy & comfortable in a wonderful part of the country.

We found the cottage to be cosy and comfortable, with high standards of hygiene and excellent facilities, we even used the wood burner for chilly evenings.

The location is quiet so ideal to relax yet within easy driving distance to explore both countryside and coast.

Very clean and well looked after. Comfortable, warm, cozy and peaceful. Lots of good places to visit nearby.

This was our fifth or sixth stay at Harvest Moon and we intend to return. The cottage is peaceful with excellent amenities and is situated in a useful location.

Overall a good property and well situated Only problems were intermittent WI FI, and lack of serving spoons!

A well presented property in a quiet rural location.

The hosts were friendly and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed for our stay.

A quiet location despite the student cars taking the lane as a shortcut to Otley college.

Not seen the night sky as clear as that for a long time. The tabletop freezer was sufficient for our self-catering needs. Everything was easy to use but the original manuals were available if needed. Grundisburgh church with its many angels in its roof beams is well worth a visit as is the coffee shop in the village. The post office shop had everything for daily needs. The local roads were easy driving although windy like almost every road in Suffolk.

My wife, daughter and I spent 5 nights in Harvest Moon and we found it to be a very comfortable cottage with everything provided for us.

Very comfortable. Some milk, wine & cookies were left for us which was much appreciated. The owners Teresa & Lennie live next door & were very welcoming. Well positioned house on the edge of the village. Close to the wonderful gardens at Helmingham hall, National trust Sutton Hoo, Flatford Mill & Orford as well as Woodbridge. We would stay here again.

We had a most enjoyable week in this lovely cottage.

Set in a nice quiet location, yet within easy reach of points of interest and local beauty spots. With Woodbridge a short drive for any necessary shopping. I would like to give a shout out for our very friendly host Lennie who was always there for any of our needs.

Perfect place for quiet and calm when the world gets too loud.

Our first stay in Suffolk and the cottage certainly added to our holiday.

Very comfy and the wine and cookies were a lovely touch. The owners were there to welcome us and it was good to know they were close by if needed, thankfully not. It was nice to have separate kitchen. We will certainly be back, even though we had a lot of rain. The pub in the village is well worth a visit, meal very good.

The owners had put a lot of thought into providing essential equipment for this cottage. Lovely place to return to at the end of a day, after exploring Suffolk. Owners are very pleasant, but respect your privacy. Reassuring to know they are nearby. Would happily stay there again!

The location, setting and facilities were all excellent. We were also fortunate with the weather, which enabled us to relax in the extensive garden, towards the end of the day. We were made very welcome by the friendly owners, Teresa and Lennie.

Harvest Moon is a lovely holiday property in a rural setting.

It has a huge garden bordering open fields and is really peaceful. Inside there is everything one needs for a pleasant stay. We found plenty of local walks. Woodbridge and Sutton Hoo are nearby; both are well worth visiting. Highly recommended.

Harvest Moon was without a doubt the cleanest and best facilitated Sykes Cottage so far.

It truly was a home from home in every sense. Starting with a warm welcome from our host (Teresa ) and continuing as soon as we stepped inside. We were instantly relaxed, warm and comfortable. The attention to detail was second to none. If you need a stress free time away from your normal routine then I would highly recommend Harvest Moon. It has everything you need and more with plenty of things to do in the surrounding area if you choose.

Harvest Moon is an excellent holiday cottage: clean, comfortable, with all necessary items provided along with books, games and DVDs.

The garden is grassy and spacious, ideal for relaxing in or playing sport/games as we did with our two wee boys. The owners are very friendly, helpful, accessible but not intrusive. Surrounding countryside is lovely, as is the nearby village of Grundisburgh and the closest town, Woodbridge. All in all, first class.

Very comfortable cottage, welcome tray of biscuits, milk and wine and many basics eg tea and coffee.

Very clean and everything you could want. Owners very friendly, not to mention the trio of beautiful hens that wander round the garden. Many interesting places to visit nearby and wonderful scenery.

I took my daughter and her two small children on holiday to Harvest Moon Cottage.

Tho we now live in Norfolk, we are originally from Suffolk and lived there for many years. I actually went to school in the Village of Grundisburgh where the Cottage is situated. The owners who we got chatting with, are lovely people. Friendly, helpful and kind. We were lucky with the weather as it was warm and sunny every day but one........on the only day it rained the owners brought round dvd's for the children and also gave us eggs from their chickens. The accommodation is very much home from home.......comfortable and cosy........we loved the peace and quiet of the large garden. We very much appreciated the little welcoming touches of Cake, Biscuits and a bottle of Wine. We would definitely like to return and have told the Owners that. They are very warm, welcoming people. Harvest Moon exceeded my expectations, it was a beautifully decorated cottage, child friendly and in a great location for a relaxing family holiday.

The photos don't really do it justice. The owners Teresa and Lenny were friendly and helpful without being intrusive and we had a lovely time!

Very comfortable cottage and a warm welcome from the owner.

Everything we could have wanted was there. Only snag - which we knew about and which is anyway quite impossible to do anything about - was that the bathroom was on the ground floor and that the bathroom and wc were behind the same door.

I have marked Sykes as ' meeting our expectations' as we have booked with you before and expected high standards - and we were not disappointed!

I particularly like how you make it so easy on your website to filter out the 'dog friendly' properties as I have acute health issues that are triggered by prolonged exposure to animal fur/dander. Keep up the good work and stress to your property owning clients that if their accommodation is advertised as 'no pets' it must always be so for the sake of my comfort and others like me. Keep up the good work and we will keep returning to you!
