Time Out, Southwold

Time out is a lovely property with a great view across the marshes.

It's generally well equipped but you may want to take your own knives for food prep. We were always able to find a parking spot immediately outside the property. The beds, sofas and chairs were all comfortable. The location was very good, quiet and with easy access to the coast and the town. Some updating and maintenance of the property would improve it further but it is a place we would return to.

We had a fantastic five day stay in Time Out this Easter; easy to park outside the house on the road, with a great view across the marsh.

We found the property spotless upon arrival, and the little welcome pack of wine and chocolate was very much appreciated. The website photos don't do the property justice - it is bigger and roomier than shown, and the beds were very comfortable - we all slept very well. Tea, coffee and milk were provided on arrival, all the appliances worked and there were clear instructions and information laid out for us. We will definitely be back in the future, as it's in the perfect location for a wander to the beach, pier and town centre, and it's in a great location to drive further afield along the Suffolk coast.

This was our second visit to Timeout, and just as lovely as before.

Very well appointed, lovely and light, comfy beds, plenty of crockery etc. Back garden a sunny place to sit, and front of house looked over reed beds, which was magical first thing with mists. Shower room downstairs obviously re tiled, very smart. I left a note stating dishwasher not cleaning properly and kitchen tap wonky, hopefully sorted. Definitely recommend especially if you have children, lots of games and books

The house was clean,warm and comfortable and equiped with all essentials.

The location was great with views over the creek and a short walk to the pier. A marsh harrier was a regular sighting from the lounge window on most nights. Southwold reminds me of a seaside town in the 1960s with its pier , crazy golf and boating lakes and fantastic fish and chips. Absolutely charming and not to be missed.

As the weather was good we enjoyed alot of time in the nice back garden. We have stayed at many holiday cottages and it was up there with the best considering the price we paid. My only negative is the house particularly the front lounge gets very cold in the evenings and the gas central heating takes so long to get the house warm . I guess that's a general issue of old properties

We enjoyed our stay at Timeout, very well equipped and comfortable.

Lots of space, with lovely views over reed marsh. Nice and basically clean. The house is very cold even with heating on, gas fire in front room a godsend, I know we booked November but single glazing in some rooms need updating. House getting ready for a good clean, especially shower base, cobwebs in some rooms.

It was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was so quiet and peaceful at night and so close to the town and beach. We loved Southwold and would definitely come back. We have recommended to our family and friends. The sunset was magnificent on the middle evening of our stay and we couldn’t take our eyes of it.

Easy parking on the street outside. House is very comfortable and spacious. Nice garden and, because we had glorious weather, great for a barbecue or two. The area is very quiet being on the outskirts of town overlooking the marshes. The town centre is 10 minutes walk away (aim for the church). Walberswick is a nice 1.5 mile easy walk. Two great pubs there. Take the path past the old railway station and keep heading straight until you get to the bridge. Also went out to Dunwich, which also has some good walks and another very good pub. Recommend staying in this property if you are in Southwold.

Timeout is a lovely property in a quiet location, but only only a ten minute walk from the Pier and the high street.

We were welcomed with a bottle of white wine, tea and coffee and biscuits which the children enjoyed. The property was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our four day stay.

Fantastic location within easy walking distance of the sea front and the town centre.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Garden great for the dog as fully enclosed and ideal walks directly from the front door. We will be back next year. Thank you

Brilliant location, lovely outlook, easy parking and great comfort!

Time out is a beautiful house with lots of comfortable living space and two comfortable bedrooms.

The kitchen had everything we needed. The garden is dog secure and a perfect size. The north edge of Southwold is delightfully quiet with fabulous views out over the marshes. There was always parking outside the house even when Southwold was busy. We had a very happy week there!

Lovely house, in a great location on the northern edge of the town.

Nice aspect looking out over the marshes. Only 5-10 mins walk from the town centre. Very pleasant rear garden, south facing. For those that like walks there is nice one out to Walberswick. In the town plenty of independent shops and a good range of pubs and restaurants .

A beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet location looking over fields.

The property was aptly named. A super holiday for the dog and I with great walks on the doorstep.

Giggest issue are messages from Sykes in a pale grey font that is barely readable in daylight.

Essential to print out because of this.

We had a wonderful stay, with our dog, in February in this comfortable, well equipped and warm cottage.

We had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay here again. The location was great with views and walks immediately from the house across the marsh and just 10 minutes to walk into the main part of Southwold, beaches, piers etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 weeks at Time Out, although it was very cold during our stay in December.

The house was very good throughout - the kitchen well kitted out and the beds comfortable. It was good to have weekly cleaning and the staff were friendly and professional. In fact, we found everyone in Southwold very friendly to us and our dog, who I think has put on weight from the treats given by shop staff! A great place to stay and we hope to be back - albeit in warmer weather!

Time Out is a very comfortable holiday let.

Very well situated for walking to the beach or into town. The views are lovely and parking was very easy on the road. Garden was great for our dog.

!! Fortunately we visited the same time as the heatwave did which added to a lovely holiday. Plenty of days out as there's so much to see and lovely walks too! Thank you for our lovely stay.
