    “The property was ideal for the family, plenty of room to spread around, pool table great fun.”

    Would prefer the TV in the kitchen lounge to be a bit bigger and perhaps on the wall to aid viewing for all to watch. Few taps and shower heads require some descaling. Kitchen equipment was excellent - new glasses needed and a few more to allow all to enjoy an Adnams Prosecco or beer at home. A second set of keys or access via the side door would have been extremely helpful as people often want to go their separate ways/eldery/unable to open the lock box.

The Old Gymnasium is the perfect property for extended family and friends to enjoy, with it's variety of reception rooms to be enjoyed. Positioned in the heart of Southwold behind the bustling High Street, full of fabulous shops, restaurants and pubs. Enjoy the short walk from the sandy beach and iconic pier. Ground Floor Entering into the entrance hallway, with a statement staircase taking you up to the first floor. On the ground floor there is a cloakroom and sitting room, perfect for entertaining or for movie night, with a small kitchenette and access to the garage. Sitting Room A fantastic space to entertain in the Old Gymnasium, whether it is entertaining or enjoying a movie night. Offering ample seating with four sofas and two arm chairs. Lowestoft 13.4 miles; Ipswich 35.1 miles

Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
