“Obviously the Middle House is a beautiful property in a convenient location for town and beach and is therefore expensive.”

We did stay earlier in the year but the comments we made then had NOT been acted on. We did stay earlier in the year but the comments we made then had NOT been acted on. The front door latch does not work properly so every time you leave the house even to go to the dustbin you have to have the key with you in case you are locked out. The downstairs toilet does not flush properly as we mentioned before. Despite very lovely weather there were no cushions to put on the recliners in the garden so they were too uncomfortable to use. The parasol is not attached to the ground and the slightest gust of wind causes it to blow out which is obviously dangerous with small children. There was fallen fruit in the garden which had not been cleared and was rotting and was attracting wasps. As someone has said before for a property that sleeps 8 to only have 12 mugs means you cannot put them in the dishwasher as you have used them all before it is ready to set off. When we stayed earlier in the year we replaced the batteries in the remote control for TV and they appeared to be running out again! So in general it is a beautiful property which with some minor adjustments would be even better. We would like to know that these issues have been dealt with before we would consider booking again. Could someone from Sykes confirm that these comments will be passed to the owner.
