The property

A superb ground floor sea front setting near the center of the bustling seaside town of Southwold in Suffolk. 11 The Craighurst is the perfect accommodation and location all year round for a couple, family or friends. The holiday apartment boasts a wealth of beautiful features and is stylishly and cosily furnished. The apartment is very spacious and wonderfully light filled with wide doorways, and a very practical flow between the living, sleeping and outdoor areas. Access is through a private courtyard which is bathed in sunlight in the afternoon, with lighthouse views and providing welcoming outside space to enjoy some drinking and dining alfresco. The private front door has a level entrance into the wide hallway, with ample space for beach bags, pushchairs, coats and shoes. From the hall, wider than normal doorways access all the rooms. The open-plan kitchen/diner is stunning with a fully fitted kitchen forming the heart of the home. There is a window on to the courtyard and glass double doors to the lounge that let the light flow through the house. Those glass doors enable the kitchen with large dining table and radio/Bluetooth speaker and the lounge with tv and books/games to be two separate spaces for guests to have their own space for different activities. The bay windowed living room has sofas and an armchair with spectacular broad views out to sea and along the Suffolk coastline. There is a door in the bay onto another outdoor area to soak up the seaside atmosphere especially during sunrise and the morning. When bedtime calls, there is a large bedroom with king size bed, ample cupboard space and ensuite shower room, plus a twin bed room for adults or young people; all beautifully presented. The peaceful location of the bedrooms at the rear with quality beds and their windows on to the courtyard are perfect for laying your weary head at night and waking up feeling refreshed and raring to go. The location of 11 The Craighurst is just perfect, directly facing the beach, a few minutes along the promenade to the pier and model boat pond. The delights of Southwold’s independent shops, eateries and galleries are very close too. Ground Floor Guests are welcomed from a private block paved path and gated courtyard to a front door with wide flat access to the wood floored hallway. The hallway has doorways opening to the kitchen/diner, both bedrooms and a very large bathroom. Kitchen/Dining Room The kitchen is generously sized with dining area, perfect for meals and gatherings.
