Extensive kitchen and all very clean and comfortable.

Quite good location but needed to remember the way back in the dark as no lighting on Tibbys Way. Dedicated parking space a big plus. Only downside was two flights of stairs to lug the luggage up and down.

Apart from the parking we had the most fantastic stay, apartment is lovely, clean and tidy with everything you need.

Location is ideal for walking to all that Southwold has to offer. When we arrived we just couldn’t park in the space allocated due to the car that was already in the garage being parked too far away from the wall, this made it impossible for us to open the car doors to get out. We did find a space about a 5 minute walk away so left our car there for the whole time.

We recently stayed in skylark and had a wonderful time the property was very clean it had everything that you could need for the stay it was light and airy and perfectly situated for the beach and restaurants, the rooftop terrace was amazing especially as there was a heatwave at the time, we would certainly go back and recommend the property

Great location, a great, very clean apartment, it has a lovely open airy feeling, although the windows don't open a lot (safety catches) but we found it fine.

A well equipped kitchen too, although a hand whisk would be a great addition. We used the picnic bag once on one walk, great idea, and we used the rooftop terrace a lot on the sunny days, and we able to shelter away from the strong wind we had this week. And of course the car parking space is fab in a place like Southwold were parking is so difficult.

the local area has ever thing you need lovely shops . Bars eating places . lovely beach and pier to walk alone. the only thing that we both struggled with was the stairs leading to our apartment . but we are both O A Ps . car parking was very good just outside the accommodation. was a pleasure to stop there. Many thanks for the lovely bottle off wine.

A lovely flat with a great kitchen/sitting room.

The covered parking space was very welcome and the large roof terrace has wonderful views although you need to be a sunlover to fully appreciate it. Overall, everything that we needed for our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our week in Southwold. The only small thing that we would have liked to see would be a grab rail in the shower as stepping over the side of the bath was a challenge.

Excellent apartment in a prime location.

Immaculately presented with all the facilities you could ask for. Spacious for 2 people and the roof terrace is an added bonus. Private parking is at a premium in Southwold too. Would definitely book again.

A well furnished apartment situated in the heart of Southwold.

The roof terrace was an added bonus. Allocated parking was welcome, though the space is extremely tight, not suited to a large car.

You need to descale kettle and get the washer dryer to work.

Bed too hard.

Lovely place the roof top terrace looks a bit tired as the furniture and decking needs re staining and birds poo everywhere which you would expect but dont think it's cleaned much and would not want to sit up there very uninviting

Absolutely loved our stay at Skylark.

It was spotlessly clean on arrival. Everything we needed was to hand. Location couldn’t have been better. Parking was a massive bonus. Southwold itself is beautiful with plenty to see and do. We did struggle a bit with the terrace lighting as it kept on tripping the electric so we stopped using the lights. But this is easily rectified and we would highly recommend Skylark :)

We would recommend this property as being modern in design, clean inside and conveniently positioned for the town's many facilities and attractions.

As a second/third floor accommodation it would not suit those with mobility issues. Most of the adjacent properties are similar lets and so your little community are all doing similar things. The kitchen has the necessary appliances for those who wish to cook; be aware there is little counter top or cupboard space (as is the way with holiday lets). We would recommend both the town and the accommodation. The bed is large and comfortable, with good clothes storage. The bathroom is modern and easy to use. There are adequate cushions to take to the top floor and it is a peaceful and private place to sit for breakfast or in the evening; the roof area is not regularly cleaned (birds are a local issue).

The roof terrace could do with brightening up, some potted plants and solar light would enhance the area

We had a lovely stay in Skylark.

Very cosy and clean with lots of nice little details thought of. Very convenient for the village centre. A lovely place to come back to at the end of an active day. The only thing we'd like to say is parking is tight in the carport. We have a Quashquai car, anything bigger would be tricky. We would, on the whole recommend this place.

Pluses - Great place to stay.

Warm and cosy on cold days. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage for clothes. Negatives- There was nowhere to put food as all the kitchen cupboards were full. The car park space was very difficult to access and we had to approach it from the wrong direction. A large vehicle would not get into the carport at all and should be stated in the particulars. Your directions talk about passing the Kings Head which hasn't existed for about 6 years!!!

We had a lovely stay at Skylark in Southwold.

The apartment was very high spec and well equipped. We had no issues whilst there. We didnt use the roof terrace as the weather was pretty windy, but to be honest the view would have been obliterated by the surrounding brick wall once you were seated. Roof terraces and balconies only really work with glass fencing. But what attracted us to the flat and was worth its weight in gold was the private parking space. We had no complaints and would definitely consider returning.

When our freezer wasn’t working on arrival it was quickly rectified. Fresh sheets and towels for our second week which wasn’t expected. Will definitely use you guys next year. We have been coming to Southwold for 10 years and were let down last year by the rental company and changed to you guys. The best thing we did. Thank you

The new owners have made a few subtle improvements, the provision of an amazon stick is great on a wet day, the provision of the little things like, sugar, salt n pepper, foil etc etc, does make it so much better.

Also their views on Southwold is helpful, we left some more local walks in their folder, as it's such a great base for a walk without getting in the car. One thing I feel I should mention, whilst we weren't overly bothered by the local birds whilst using the great rooftop terrace, and know I would be really disappointed if I couldn't use it, so prevention is the best way forward, it does need some work to do this now.

The listing underplayed the property, no mention of parking, the shower is supposed to be hand held over bath but is much better especially the rain shower head.

The roof terrace is great with wonderful views. Enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and so nice to have sharp knifes. Would recommend this property.

Mostly ok but a few issues.

No handles on the kitchen and bathroom windows, so we could not open them. The wi-fi was non-existent. Between the welcome folder and a card left on the table there were three possible wi-fi connections, none of them worked. The roof terrace was disappointing. Very spartan with minimal furniture. There were no views from a sitting position. We read the visitors’ book and of complaints about seagulls, but we spent no time up there so couldn’t verify that. The general view is of a comfortable pleasant stay with just the reservations expressed above.
