Poppy Cottage is a wonderfully refurbished holiday home located in central Southwold, close to the beachfront. The property has undergone an extensive renovation to create a bright and welcoming two bedroom holiday let, perfect for adults and children to enjoy. On the ground floor is a large kitchen/dining area, separate sitting room, bunk room and cloakroom. On the first floor is a beautiful tranquil bedroom and family bathroom. Outside is a private courtyard garden with space to dine alfresco. The property is centrally located, just a short walk away from the beautiful sandy beach and vibrant high street, full of wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants. Ground Floor Entering into the property from a private pass off of Victoria Street, entering into the spacious kitchen/dining room. Kitchen/Dining Room A bright and spacious room. The kitchen is well equipped with all of the mod-con's needed to cook up a storm, this includes an electric oven with 4 ring hob and extractor fan above, slim-line dishwasher, 70/30 fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. In addition there is a washing machine located in the cloakroom. Sitting Room Located off of the kitchen/dining room with dual aspect views. Shutter blinds allow you to adjust the light in to the room. This warm and inviting room offers space for everyone to sit back and relax. There is a luxurious L-shaped sofa with a wooden coffee table. There is a TV for your entertainment. Bedroom 2 Located at the rear of the property, accessible off of the kitchen/dining room. This fun and inviting room is perfectly designed with children in mind. There is a bunk bed with touch reading lights. A wooden cabinet is full of an array of games and puzzles for guests to enjoy. First Floor Stairs lead up to the first floor landing area, with bedroom 1 and family bathroom. Bedroom 1 With views of the church across the rooftops. This sumptuous room offers a space to relax and unwind. Featuring a king size bed with bedside tables and lamps, beautiful rocking chair and an abundance of built in storage for your belongings. Bathroom A fantastic modern bathroom waits, featuring a bath with overhead shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail. Outside Poppy Cottage features a private enclosed courtyard garden with table and chairs, perfect for dining alfresco. The garden can be accessed via a side gate. Whilst there is no allocated parking with this property, on road parking can be found along Victoria Street (some is on a limited time scale), East Green and Cumberland Road.

Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
