    “We had a lovely stay.”

    Slight ant problem on arrival - it would have been nice to have been informed in advance, though the bait stations put down did their job. Otherwise a very good, well equipped property in a great location. Some minor issues with mobile homes blocking the views. An extra set of keys would have been nice. Note Southwold has some great bakers, delis, cafes and butchers, but the small local supermarkets are very limited. Thus consider sorting out a supermarket delivery in advance.

Pebbles is a truly luxurious detached family holiday home located in the heart of Southwold, along Field Stile Road. The property has undergone an extensive renovation to create a bright and spacious living/kitchen dining room, with uninterrupted views of Southwold's iconic Pier and seafront. Boasting four en-suite bedrooms, two on the ground floor and two on the first floor. Outside is both a front and rear garden, with seating for dining alfresco, with the addition of two private parking spaces. Ground Floor Guests are welcomed in a spacious entrance hall with coat hooks and space for shoes. Kitchen/Dining/Living Room Light and bright open plan layout with large floor to ceiling French windows that open out on to the gardens terrace, creating a beautiful space for family and friends to come together. The kitchen area has everything the chef of the group needs to cook up those culinary delights, this includes two ovens with slide & hide doors, five ring induction hob with extractor fan above, full size fridge, full size freezer, dishwasher, integrated microwave, kettle, toaster and Delonghi coffee machine. In addition the property also has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The open plan layout means the whole party can interact, whilst enjoying the kitchen, dining room and living space. There is a beautiful modern dining table and chairs, comfortably seating eight. Sliding doors allow the illusion of dining alfresco. SOUTHWOLD

Lowestoft 13.4 miles; Ipswich 35.1 miles

Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
