    It was well equipped and served all our needs as two families together! A stone's throw from the beach, great views from the 2nd & 3rd floors; as well as a fantastic courtyard for socialising & eating. Superb place!

The property

On entering the front door you know you are somewhere special with quality furnishings and fittings throughout, ideally positioned to make the most of the stunning sea views on offer. Entering into the spacious hallway with vaulted ceilings, on the ground floor you have a family room with dining area, open plan kitchen/dining room, utility area and shower room. On the first floor are three generous sized bedrooms, one with en-suite and family shower room. At the front of the first floor is the sitting room with sea views. On the second floor are two further bedrooms and family bathroom with walk-in shower. The whole property has been carefully renovated using a mixture of both original pieces of antique furniture, whilst combining with modern luxuries. The secluded courtyard garden, furnished with table and chairs, tempts you to make the most of the warmer months and sea air, enjoying meals outside. The owners have carefully renovated the property which you can relax and unwind in and make special memories together year after year. Marlborough road offers unrestricted parking on a first come basis, additional parking can be found on Dunwich road and Stradbroke Road.

Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
