The property

High Ground is a wonderful detached family self-catering holiday home in Reydon, just minutes away from the coastal town of Southwold. The property is set in a vast garden that wraps around the four sides of the property. Inside the property boasts a large kitchen, dining room, bathroom, WC and living room on the ground floor, with three bedrooms on the first floor. Ground Floor The property offers two access points, one at the front, and one at the side. The side entrance leads you unit the utility room/kitchen area. Through the kitchen area is the dining room which then leads onto the main hallway. Off the hallway is the large living room, bathroom and WC. Kitchen / Utility Room This spacious room, with high ceilings offers both a kitchen and utility room area. The light and bright space boasts all of the mod-cons you could need including a double oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, Bosch coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Dining Room Located just off the kitchen, with views across the front garden. This bright space with wooden flooring and high ceilings offers a large wooden dining table with five chairs, perfect for quality meals together. Living Room This vast space, with double french doors leading onto the garden, and single door leading out onto a decked area with a wooden table and chairs. This room is very much the heart of the home, perfect to be enjoyed in both the colder winter months, and warmer summer days. There is ample seating provided, with different seating sections to make the most of the views, TV and the open fireplace, these include a two seater sofa, and five individual chairs. There is a large 65'' TV for your entertainment. Bathroom Featuring a gorgeous roll top bath, shower cubical, WC and wash basin with mirror above. WC Located next to the living room, with a WC. First Floor Carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor landing, with three bedrooms leading off. Bedroom 1 With views out across the side and rear garden. This tranquil space includes a double bed with bedside tables and lamps, comfortable chair, full length mirror and built in cupboards for your belongings Bedroom 2 With views across the rear garden, this room has a full size single bed with bedside table and lamp, and a chest of drawers for your belongings. Bedroom 3 With both side and rear views, this room is perfect for both adults and children to enjoy. There are two full size single beds with a side table and lamp in between. Outside You are spoilt for choice with the many different areas of the garden. The outdoor space boasts a variety of areas to sit and enjoy the sun all day long, and most importantly to be able to dine alfresco. Outside the kitchen is a paved area with large wooden table and six chairs, with a parasol provided. Outside the living area is a wooden table on the decked area, with four wooden chairs and umbrella. The garden is mostly laid to lawn, creating a wonderful space for children to play. At the rear of the garden the owners have created the perfect space with a fire pit, so make sure you grab those marshmallows. High Ground benefits from parking at the rear of the property, there is space for two cars. Covert Road is completely unrestricted, and on road parking can be found to the front of High Ground

Southwold 1 mile.

The village of Reydon is adjoined to Southwold, one of north Suffolk's most beautiful and popular seaside towns. The market town of Southwold is known for its iconic whitewashed working lighthouse, restored pier, brightly coloured beach huts and the harbour where you can purchase freshly caught fish for your tea. The areas surrounding Reydon and Southwold offer many places to visit, whilst walkers, cyclists, and bird watchers can enjoy the beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coastline with unspoilt heath lands and nature reserves including RSPB Minsmere. The nearby fashionable seaside town of Aldeburgh offers independent shops and galleries and along the seafront is Moot Hall, home to its museum and The Scallop, an interlocking sculpture dedicated to Benjamin Britten. Two miles from Aldeburgh is Thorpeness where you can spend a day boating on the magical Century Meare with its Peter Pan themed islands. Both the cities of Ipswich and Norwich are within easy driving distance.
