Resting in the beautiful Suffolk village of Ufford, near Woodbridge, Rhubarb Cottage is a quaint family home close to local amenities and the Deben River. As you arrive at this picture postcard cottage you will sense the classic character of Rhubarb Cottage immediately. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, dining room, sitting room, and shower room. Steep cottage stairs lead up to the first floor with two bedrooms and en-suite bathroom. Ground Floor You will enter into the entrance hall with plenty of space to hang your coats and place your shoes. Hard wood and tiled flooring runs throughout the ground floor. Kitchen This quaint kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm whilst enjoying your self-catering break. This includes an electric oven, hob, microwave, slimline dishwasher, fridge, kettle and toaster. There is a fridge-freezer and washing machine located in the outbuilding. Dining Room Located off the kitchen, this spacious room features a large wooden dining table seating six. A large dresser houses a whole range of crockery and glassware. Plus there is a sumptious armchair in the corner for when you want to sit back and enjoy a cup of tea and a good book. Sitting Room Relax at the end of the day in this charming room with exposed beams, a sofa and two arms chairs positioned to enjoy the Smart TV. There is also an array of board games and books for guests to enjoy. Shower Room Located off the kitchen, this room is perfect to wash off those sandy toes after a day enjoying one of the many Suffolk beaches. There is a shower cubical, wash basin and WC. First Floor Carpeted steep stairs lead up to the first floor, with built in stair gate at the top. Bedroom 1 With exposed original floor boards and beams, a space to retreat to at the end of the day. Relax in the wooden framed king size bed with bedside tables and lamps, there is a cupboard and chest of drawers for your belongings. En-suite Bathroom Relax and unwind in the gorgeous freestanding roll top bath. There is a wash basin, WC and heated towel rail Bedroom 2 This carpeted room with views across the garden features a two single beds with bedside table and lamp. There is a built in wardrobe for your belongings. Outside Rhubarb Cottage benefits from an expansive country garden, with many secrets areas to explore. In the summer months enjoy the dedicated barbecue and seating area for dining alfresco. There is a graveled gated driveway with parking for two cars.

Woodbridge is a historic riverside market town boasting an outstanding selection of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. The town has been famous for boatbuilding, rope and sail making since the Middle Ages. The working tide mill is a major attraction and a must visit for anyone staying in the area. The River Deben runs alongside the town and is popular for boating, walking and wildlife with wonderful views over to the National Trust site of Sutton Hoo. The town hosts a number of events throughout the year and is a wonderful place to visit.

Note: One well behaved dog is welcome but please keep them off soft furnishings, keep them downstairs & tidy up after your dog including the outside areas.
