Wrentham is a small village located in Suffolk, near the north-east coast of this wonderful English county. Home to several shops, two pubs and a village hall, it offers all the necessities you need for a delightful stay in East Anglia. Benacre National Nature Reserve is close by, with the reedbeds and lagoons of Benacre, Covehithe and Easton Broads, together with the woodlands and heathlands elevated between them. Much of the Reserve is private land, however there are many features of interest drawing in visitors; over 100 bird species use the area for breeding, wild flowers flourish within verdant landscapes and all along the coastline are picturesque views stretching far and wide. Further along is the breath-taking Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve, benefitting a rich beach flora and an abundance of resident wildlife. The small town of Southwold, situated in the Waveney district of Suffolk, lies at the mouth of the River Blyth and offers many attractions in the local area such as Alfred Corry Lifeboat Museum Trust, Adnams Distillery, along with its idyllic promenade, charming lighthouse and colourful beach huts adorning the seafront. The Blyth Valley runs 17 miles inland from the coast at Southwold, and is a superb location for cycling, walking and wildlife-watching, whilst the attractive market town of Halesworth acts as the hub of the area benefitting some fantastic facilities.
