Had a really lovely few days in June.

Loved it. So much we booked for next year.

Fantastic stay, great location.

.... But! Beautiful house, extremely clean, very comfortable beds, but as others have said there are a couple of querky things which were annoying and detracted from an amazing property. There is no microwave and there is a really weird light fitting in the lounge which i kept banging my head on and I'm only 6 foot. But the most annoying thing as mentioned by others (which is out of control of the owner) is the really loud base music played by a nearby house in the late afternoon/early evening.

Could not fault the cottage, the discription was spot on, it served as our base as we traveled around visiting where my ancestors were from.

the cottages that we normaly have through Sykes have a welcome pack, with wifi passwords, day of bins and about recycling, where the nearest hospital/doctors/dentis are (didnt need them) opening times of local shops and pub and finaly how to leave the cottage, strip beds, put towels in bath

Lovely property conveniently located close to Southwold.

Generally clean on arrival with a few small arrears overlooked (downstairs loo had not been cleaned with wee all over the loo and toothpaste in the sink & air fryer not cleaned with chips still in!) the garden was perfect and safe for our Dachshund. The mattresses were very firm for our liking but this is a personal opinion of ours and appreciate everyone is different. As per previous comments the property is lacking a guest book with instructions for wi-fi/ appliances and how they would like the property leaving on departure. We had a lovely meal at the Horse & Groom just down the road which we highly recommend and the staff were lovely.

We were very pleased with this accommodation.

It was clean and well equipped. The location was excellent, just 4 miles from Southwold with a good bus service through the village. We were surprised there wasn't a microwave in the property. Not a major problem but it would have been useful. We had no issues with noise from the property next door. This has been highlighted in other reviews. Thank you.

Could do with a carving knife for bread and a colander for draining salads and veg.

Also a welcome book with wi fi codes and tv instructions. Otherwise a very well presented property.

Everything in the house is brand new and high Quality it’s like a living in a show home The only thing missing I would say it could do with blinds in the bathrooms and bedrooms

Very nice property, well located, we enjoyed our stay.

Duvet was too heavy!

No written instructions for anything, including emergencies.

WI fi not able to connect to my devices. Someone nearby played very loud bass music a lot of the time, necessitating us having the tv volume high. Description of locality was totally incorrect, as the house is not Southwold, but Wrentham. Not told this until after deposit paid. Owner was very helpful, but unable to do much about all these matters. Commend the cleaners on their job though.

An enjoyable stay at this lovely new build property.

Very clean with quality furnishings and comfortable beds. Good location for exploring the local area. Feel that a guest/information folder would be helpful (we were unable to find the wi-fi password) and perhaps a blind for the bathroom. Whilst we found the property easily, the directions supplied by Sykes seemed to relate to a different property.

Great new build property superbly fitted out would love to stay again.

Sykes still talk about the property being in Southwold and need to change their description. Wrentham is an ideal location to explore this wonderful area. Many thanks to the property owners.

Excellent property, ideal for a small family looking to explore the area.

Just 10 minute drive to Southwold and it’s lovely beach. House description was spot on and everything inside was of a high quality. Just wish we could of stayed longer, maybe next time.
