“Lovely old cottage could do with a new cooker but we never used it anyway the cottage would also benefit from a really good hoovering lots of spiders and cobwebs.”

Perhaps also a fly trap of some description . But our main concern was the fact that cats would come into the cottage and my wife is very scared of them and i am not keen, so we had to put a stool against the cat flap, if we would have known. we would not have rented the cottage. However we still enjoyed our stay and the place for some reason or another had a lovely vibe.

I really do not know what to say to this. I checked the cottage over myself an hour or so before the guests arrived. It was immaculate. No cobwebs, no spiders, no flies. and whilst there is a catflap it is set so that no cats can come in. There is nothing wrong with the cooker - it has barely been used! these guests gave me a lot of grief refusing to use the password for WiFi and insisting, quite inappropriately, on having all the underlying network security, which I politely refused. I can only think that this unpleasant, unkind and untrue review is revenge. The guests who came in immediately afterwards absolutely loved the cottage and have already asked to return.
