    “We loved our stay for the Christmas period, even extending for a day as we really didn’t want to leave.”

    The cottage was extremely well equipped, warm and cosy. We enjoyed the comfortable lounge, the large kitchen and the quality and of the bedding. The village is sleepy and delightful, the local pub serves fantastic food and was very welcoming. We would love to return. A note not to be shared- we would suggest the owner changed the layout of the gate/ fence at the front on the cottage so that it leads directly into the garden rather than the door opening into others gardens - it’s a small ...

Ours ran out to meet the other dogs in the houses surrounding on the first Evening. Into the road. Luckily a car stoped and they helped us secure him. Our fault entirely for him getting out but if the gate was there it may not have happened, not for publishing as it’s just a suggestion.

3 The Almshouses is a delightful period property built in the 16th Century, located in the center of Peasenhall. The property retains a wealth of traditional cottage features including exposed beams. The pretty market town of Framlingham can be easily reached by car in under 15 minutes,and local pubs namely the Sibton White Horse, Badingham White Horse, or Dennington Queen, all offer delicious meals and drinks. The Suffolk coast is only a 20 minute drive away, but the village of Peasenhall has everything you need including a charming village shop, delicatessen, and tea room. Looking to bring your dog, or looking to get out and explore the Suffolk countryside on foot, well 3 The Almshouses could not be more ideal! Ground Floor Entering into hall way, leading to the kitchen/diner, sitting room and ground floor shower room. Carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor. Kitchen/dining room Overlooking the garden, a beautiful newly fitted kitchen awaits the chef of the party. The kitchen comes well equipped with an electric oven with an electric double oven with four ring ceramic hob, 70/30 fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. A farmhouse style dining table with two chairs and bench seat is positioned perfectly to enjoy meals with ease. Sitting room A charming space to sit back and relax after a busy day exploring, with a sumptuous corner sofa and cuddle seat. Guests can enjoy the 32'' TV with on demand content. Shower room A modern shower room awaits, complete with walk in shower, wash basin and WC. First Floor Traditional cottage stairs lead up to the first floor landing area. Bedroom 1 A beautiful bedroom with vaulted ceiling. Featuring a sumptuous king size bed with bedside cabinet and reading lights. Bedroom 2 Ideal for both adults and children to enjoy, with two full size single beds, each with their own bedside table and lamp. There is a freestanding hanging rail with baskets for your belongings. Outside Immediately outside the back door is a beautiful communal garden space shared with number 1 and 2 Almshouses. 3 The Almshouses boasts it's own private space just steps from the property, mostly laid to lawn with a wonderful garden table and chairs for guests to enjoy dining alfresco. There is space for one car located in the carport at the end of the garden. Additional cars can be parked on the roadside on a first come basis.
