Sunrise House is a truly beautiful Victorian family holiday home with original features located in a prime position, just a short walk from the sandy beach of Pakefield. On the ground floor you have a spacious family sitting room, dining room, stylish kitchen and shower room. Stairs lead you up to the first floor where you have four generous sized bedrooms, and a separate family bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed garden with seating, perfect for dining alfresco, in addition there is a games room for competitive family fun.
Ground Floor
Sitting Room A space for the whole family to come together and enjoy this beautiful spacious room, perfect for adults and children to enjoy. There are two chesterfield three-seater sofas with a coffee table in the middle. There is a Smart TV and an array of childrens books and toys for guests to enjoy.
Kitchen A stunning newly fitted kitchen awaits the chef of the party, with everything needed to cook up a storm. This includes a Rangemaster oven with five ring hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
Dining Room Nestled between the sitting room and kitchen, this spacious room with beautiful high ceiling, offers a space for they the group to come together and enjoy quality meal time, with a wooden table with four chairs and bench.
Shower Room Easily located at the rear of the property, perfect for washing those sandy toes after a day at the beach. Including a shower, wash basin and WC.
First Floor Carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor landing area, with four bedrooms and family bathroom.
Bedroom 1 Located at the front of the property, with views towards Kensington Gardens Road. The beautiful bay window and high ceilings create a bright and spacious room. There is a wooden king size bed, with bedside tables and lamps. There is a built in cupboard for your belongings.
Bedroom 2 Suitable for both adults and children, featuring a full size single bed.
Bedroom 3 Overlooking the garden, this room offers a zip-link bed, which will be primarily made up as a king but can be a twin upon request (requests need to be made prior to your arrival day). There is a freestanding hanging rail and storage unit for your belongings.
Family Bathroom This room features a sumptuous free standing bath, wash basin with mirror above and WC.
Bedroom 4 Nested at the rear of the property, this room offers a fun space for the children to enjoy, with a bunk bed with slide.
Outside Sunrise House offers a space for adults and children to enjoy, with a large bench style seating and brick BBQ.
There is a private driveway with space for one car, additional on road parking can be found at the front of the property.
Games Room A cosy space containing a pool table, accessed by the garden.

Lovely property that's just a short walk to the beach and amusements.
Perfect for a family with toys in the living room and my daughter loved the doll house in her bedroom. You've got a gorgeous kitchen with plenty of space and there is 2 fridges so plenty of space to keep drinks cool as well as your usual food (freezer is a little smaller and frosted up but that's a minor issue). You've got plenty of living space with the living room and a nice dining room, when the weather's good you've got a lovely little garden with a table and chairs too. The bedrooms are a good size with comfortable beds (no one complained on our party of 6). Family bathroom up stairs with a deep bath and shower from the taps, could do with a curtain as you can splash water around really easily but again this is a minor issue and it does the job. There is a bathroom on the bottom floor after the kitchen with a shower (so 2 toilets available), the shower tray fills up quickly which is a minor gripe but not a major issue. The shower is great with 2 options of shower head both with decent pressure. You've got the added bonus of a games room with a darts board and small pool table, yes the pool table is a little worn and on a slight slant but it's fantastic to have it there and like I say an added bonus (UK yellow/red and us pool balls available). The living room TV is quite small but I don't think you'd come to this property and location to watch TV, we didn't even turn it on. (It does have Disney + if you did want to watch it though.) The WiFi is solid and no one had connection issues with various phones and tablets linked to it during our stay. There's ample parking on the road outside and a spot behind gates on the property, we had 3 cars and never had any issues. It's a fantastic property that's got everything a family needs for a lovely stay, I would highly recommend and will most certainly stay there again thank you. I also had a lovely interaction with the owners on check out when I informed them we had set off a day early.
Sunrise House is in a great location, only 5 minutes walk from a lovely, clean and uncrowded beach, with cafe, outdoor shower and beach huts to hire.
Our 21 month old grandson enjoyed all the toys left - thank you for those. We also appreciated the spacious rooms and the small garden was handy for a game of football. However, we thought the house was let down by a number of issues. The cleanliness was generally acceptable except for the laminate floors, which were filthy, as evidenced by the state of our grandson’s socks after just 20 minutes. Even the bathroom floors hadn’t been washed - surely a priority between guests? Also, there were so many things that we gradually discovered were missing:- no appliance manuals (to help set the oven clock, without which the oven wouldn’t work), no oven gloves, no pegs ( we bought some and left them there), no non- slip mat for the bath ( a pre- requisite for a holiday let, I would have thought). The shower cubicle frame was coming apart at the corner junction, the stair gate wouldn’t fit at the top of the stairs and, at the bottom, it had to be one step up. We didn’t use it, judging it to be too hazardous. None of the doors would stay open ( rubber wedges?) , the bedrooms lack storage space and the lighting, even in the kitchen, was poor. We enjoyed our week there but we wouldn’t stay again or recommend it to friends.
The house is lovely.
The only niggly bits were that in the single bedroom there was no where to hang or put away clothes, and also the bunk bed room, ie a hanging rail and a chest of drawers. The same in the other bedrooms there were no chest of drawers to put anything away. We had to lay the suitcases down and live out of them. Also a towel rails in the bathrooms and hooks on the back of doors to dry towels as not all rooms had a hook. It was a lovely house and very spacious. Also the freezer needed to be defrosted as it was completely iced up. We could just about get into the bottom drawer to put our ice packs.
