Mundays Cottage is a beautifully presented end of terrace property, located in the heart of Orford, offering an ideal holiday home to enjoy all year round. On the ground floor you enter into spacious hallway, leading onto the study, cloakroom and open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room beyond. From the dining area open the sliding doors to enjoy the patio garden. On the first floor are three spacious bedrooms, a king, twin and single, with family bathroom. Orford features the famous Orford Ness Nature reserve and Havergate Island, as well as one of the best bakeries in the area, Pump Street Bakery Sailing and boat trips are available on the River Ore, with country walks in Rendlesham Forest. It is only 11 miles from the beach at Aldeburgh, with the wonderful market towns of Framlingham and Woodbridge just a short drive away. Ground Floor Entering into the spacious hallway, leading onto the study, cloakroom and open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room. Kitchen/Dining/Sitting Room A bright and airy space with light oozing through the vast windows and sliding-doors. In the morning the sunrise fills this room. In addition there is a lawned garden at the front of the property, however please note this is not enclosed. there is a parking space to the rear of the property, accessed via the car park entrance on Mundays Lane and Castle Lane. Guests are to park in front of garage no.1. Additional parking is available on neighbouring roads on a first come basis.

The attractive, unspoiled fishing village of Orford is situated on the bank of the River Alde and looked over by its magnificent 12th century castle built by Henry II. The village is home to a hotel and restaurant, two pubs, village store, bakers and wonderful fish restaurant and smokehouse. Orford is surrounded by farm land and forest in an area known as the Suffolk Coasts and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Centrally located, just 12 miles from Woodbridge to the south and Aldeburgh to the north, and just 5 miles from the famous Snape Maltings complex. The village of Orford is steeped in history. Henry II commissioned a castle to be built in the 12th century which is a must see when you visit the area. Owned and maintained by English Heritage you can enjoy this wonderful 'keep' and from the top there are breathtaking views for miles on a clear day.
