The house was clean and comfortable.

The only criticism I have is the heaters would not work and there was no instructions on usage . The front bedroom door has no latch and kept coming open with every gust of wind . The doors were constantly banging whilst closed ,this could be improved with the inclusion of a self adhesive draught excluder attached to the door . Apart from these minor things ,we had a most peaceful and comfortable stay in the house . Vic & Angela Dorrington. Ps .We hope to return in the future .

The best property we have rented in Suffolk.

Comfortable facilities, very well equipped kitchen, brilliant placement for enjoying the area. Beware the proximity of Pump Street Bakery, I gained 3 pounds in a week. The hot water heater came on for 40 minutes around 0600 hrs but I think an average sleeper would not be disturbed. There are now mats in the shower and bathroom as well as tea towels in the kitchen. Welcome pack was a nice touch.

The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped.

It is conveniently placed in Orford. We were very pleased with it and enjoyed our stay, with the following caveats: The biggest drawback was the intermittent boiler noise, which is very disruptive for whoever sleeps in the back bedroom. It comes on at odd times in the night for about 40 minutes. It can be heard in the sitting room too. This isn’t conducive to a good nights sleep. The building work next door was extremely intrusive on a couple of mornings. The sounds of intense heavy drilling in bursts made us leave the house in a hurry. I have made sound recordings of the noise but there is no way of sending them with this form.

The paintwork was not up to standard in down stairs toilet there was an e extractor no headboard in second bedroom

As previous reviewer stated this property has great potential being in a good location and having off street parking.

It has rustic furnishings but that being said could be a fabulous holiday home. However it currently has very noisy major building works taking place in the adjoining property and problems with loud boiler noise very early in the morning in one of the main bedrooms. In addition there are several maintenance issues that need addressing. If you have any mobility issues then bring your own bath mat for the shower since although being a great size it has an extremely slippery floor with no handholds to help with a safe exit. All issues have been emailed to company and hopefully will be addressed however until then I have to say I don’t feel it met the level of accommodation I was expecting.

This cottage has such potential, a good central village location with parking however it is let down by its general presentation due to lack of maintenance and poor presentation.

Unfortunately in its current condition I cannot recommend to friends and family.

Probably stupid on our part,but we couldn’t get to grips with the heaters.

Looked for an instruction document with no joy.There were times when it was a bit chilly.Appreciate there is an open fire,but we didn’t wish to do that for a short stay. Apart from that,it was very clean and comfortable in a very nice location. We would certainly return.

A lovely cottage in the heart of Orford.

Extremely clean, well equipped and decorated. A great spot for exploring Suffolk. We will return.
