    “We have had a wonderful week in this beautiful spacious and very well equipped cottage.”

    It is tastefully decorated, very clean and well presented, beds were comfy and everything you could need was supplied. It was lovely to sit out on the decking having breakfast even in late September. The gardens around the cottage were surrounded by trees and made for a lovely outlook. Although there is a pet cremation facility at the end of the road, there was only the occasional truck that went up past the cottage which in no way spoilt our enjoyment of this place and should not let people ...

    It is tastefully decorated, very clean and well presented, beds were comfy and everything you could need was supplied. It was lovely to sit out on the decking having breakfast even in late September. The gardens around the cottage were surrounded by trees and made for a lovely outlook. Although there is a pet cremation facility at the end of the road, there was only the occasional truck that went up past the cottage which in no way spoilt our enjoyment of this place and should not let people be put off from booking this holiday home. The road leading to the cottage is a dead end so there isn’t traffic constantly coming past as there would be if the cottage was on a standard road. We have loved our stay and would book again for next year with no hesitation.

Valley Farm Cottage offers an idyllic retreat for family and friends to enjoy a picturesque retreat in the Suffolk countryside, whilst close to Woodbridge a vibrant riverside town full of amenities for you to enjoy on your break. Valley Farm Cottage offers a flexible abode with everything you need for your party to enjoy, with a ground floor bedroom with shower room and two first floor bedrooms, both with bathrooms. The open plan kitchen/dining room has created a social space for your group to come together, with patio doors opening out onto a decked veranda perfect for those warmer months. The two sitting rooms allow a space for both adults and children to enjoy, with everything they possibly need. Outside is complete with a beautiful garden and off road parking. Ground Floor Entering into the spacious entrance hall, leading to all other rooms. Boot Room The ideal space to hang those coats and muddy boots. Housing a fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer and sink. Cloak Room With wash basin and WC. Open plan Kitchen/Dining Room. A beautiful light and spacious room with views across the garden and neighboring paddock. The well equipped kitchen is perfect for the chef of the group to cook those tasty delights, this includes two electric ovens with four ring hob and extractor fan above, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is an array of seating for guests to enjoy, with a breakfast bar with two stools and a beautiful dining table seating six. Sitting Room Perfectly suited for the adults to enjoy some peace and relaxation in front of the electric log burning stove. Comfortable seating is provided with two sofas and two arm chairs. There is a TV for guests to enjoy. Stairs lead up from the sitting room to the first floor and bedroom 2. Snug A second sitting room for guests to enjoy. The owners of Valley Farm Cottage have created a space predominantly with children in mind, with a TV with freeview, videos, games and books. Stairs lead from the snug room up to the first floor and bedroom 3. Bedroom 1 Located off of the kitchen area, a beautiful light and spacious room featuring a super-king zip/link bed (which can be made up as a twin upon request), with bedside tables, chest of drawers and occasional chair. Shower Room Featuring a shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. First Floor Accessible from both sitting rooms. Bedroom 2 Featuring a wooden king size bed with bedside tables and chest of drawers. There is a cupboard on the landing with hanging space and mirror, this door also hooks to the wall as a stair guard for children, protecting them from the stairs. Bathroom A space to relax and unwind at the end of the day, with bath, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. Bedroom 3 Offering Super-king zip/link bed (which can be made up as a twin upon request), with bedside tables and chest of drawers. There is a cupboard on the landing with hanging space and mirror, this door also hooks to the wall as a stair guard for children, protecting them from the stairs. Please note there are interlocking doors between bedroom 2 and bedroom 3. Bathroom With bath, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside Valley Farm Cottage offers an array of beautiful gardens for guests to enjoy, including a vast lawned garden and beautiful decked area perfect for dining alfresco. There is a graveled driveway located off the single-track lane with parking for at least three cars.

MELTON

Woodbridge 1.8 miles; Ipswich 10 miles; Lowestoft 36.2 miles.

Melton is a rural village resting between Ipswich and Lowestoft within Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is served by Melton railway station and is just a mile from the historic market town of Woodbridge. The village has a small selection of independent shops and a couple of popular pubs so is a great place to stop off to stock up on a few essentials and have a drink while enjoying the captivating surrounding countryside. There are a number of attractions on the doorstep including some fantastic golf courses for the grown-ups and Congo Rapids Adventure Golf for the not so grown-up, as well as the rural idyll that is Foxburrow Nature Reserve. Towns such as Woodbridge, Ipswich and Lowestoft are within a short drive and offer a great range of attractions and amenities.
