A superb place to stay in Suffolk.

Excellent facilities.

We loved our stay at Ebenezer Chapel, a brilliant location for walks from the doorstep and then other places a short drive away.

The house was lovely and cosy, especially with the fire going. We would definitely stay again and recommend it as a place to stay for anyone visiting this part of the Country.

A quirky property approached from the common so no outside parking…which actually was not much of a problem.

A “wow” when you open the door says it all. A great base for exploring Suffolk and dog walks. Recommended.

We had a wonderful 10 days at Ebenezer Chapel.

It is well situated to explore the local area, very comfortable and well equipped. We very much enjoyed returning after a day's walking/exploring. The information booklet was thorough and very useful. The local shop was very friendly and had all basic essentials. It is also an off license. The village pub though basic was very friendly and welcoming. The only slight downside is that from the photographs on the website at the point of booking we had expected open views.

Tv signal kept breaking up.

No hanging facility for clothes in second bedroom hooks needed.

We had an enjoyable, comfortable stay in Ebenezer Chapel.

The common being practically on the doorstep was a real bonus and our dog enjoyed all his walks. It is also a short drive to the seaside, so that's great. Knodishall itself is a pretty little village and very friendly. It was handy to have a local shop, though I think the village would benefit from a pedestrian crossing as some drivers go too fast down the main street. If there is a petition to add one I will gladly sign it for you.

Our third stay at Ebenezer Cottage which speaks for itself - comfortable accommodation in an excellent, quiet position to explore all the joys of the Suffolk coast - made all the better by some excellent weather.

Our pooch particularly likes the early morning walks on the common before heading off to the beach - we hope to be back again someday.

What a wonderful stay, small and perfectly formed Ebenezer cottage is ideally located to visit and enjoy all that costal east Suffolk has to offer.

After days travelling far and wide, it was a pleasure to return to the well appointed, warm, comfortable Ebenezer . As a family of four plus dog the cottage had everything we required.

A lovely place to stay and we hope to go back.

We appreciated the decent beds and bedding. We didn’t cook much but we found what we needed in the kitchen (with the exception of oven gloves). The weather was starting to get chilly when we were there, and the cottage was warm and comfortable. There isn’t parking immediately outside, but it’s very close so wasn’t an issue - and it’s possible to drive up for loading/unloading.

Our second time in Ebenezer Chapel, again a wonderful stay in a great location and a short drive from the sea.

Lovely holiday property, everything clean and well-finished with comfy beds and sofas.

Had no problems with parking. Very quiet location, all we heard from outside was birdsong. Well located for getting around the lovely attractions of Suffolk. We had a very easy, relaxed and enjoyable holiday all round.

Really makes you say “wow” when you walk in! Very cosy and comfortable with all amenities to hand. Good location for exploring too. Loved it and would highly recommend!!

This is a gorgeous property, beautifully furnished, clean and really well equipped with a real attention to detail.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay and would definitely recommend. Great location too, just a few minutes from Aldeburgh and within easy reach of the beautiful Suffolk coast. Really lovely

Comfortable accommodation in a peaceful location.

This cottage is on a common the post code takes you to the common not the property!

We arrived after dark and had great difficulty locating the property a torch was essential as no streets but lanes and pathway. Despite Sykes instruction I feel that people should be aware of this problem. Once located we were very pleased with chapel and and the common in daylight is delightful

You can always telll when the owners use the cottage for themselves.

Nothing is missing in the kitchen, there are comfortable beds and the cottage just feels right! Ebenezer Chapel is a wonderful place to stay, 10 out of 10!

Superb cottage, so clean and well appointed.

Beds very comfortable and with good quality linen. Big bath towels ( a rare thing based on our experience of other cottages!). Parking not a problem, even when there were no spaces by the church we managed to park on the road. Might be nice to have a couple of cushions for the outside seats for when the weather is good. Only very minor thing we needed to find a solution for was the gate at the front of the cottage, we had to make sure we tied something round the latch as it wasn’t always shutting tightly and our little puppy found it amusing to try and pull the gate open! Other than that we have to say it was a fabulous stay. Thanks you to the owners for taking the time and effort to maintain the high standard.

A real find!

Probably the quietest cottage we have ever stayed in: beautifully furnished, with all one could need for a comfortable stay (except for a washing up bowl, which we have donated). We do recommend using the tap in the cupboard for drinking water. It is rare to find a such peaceful place that is accessible by public transport - the bus service between Saxmundham and Leiston/Aldeburgh is admittedly rather infrequent but it is reliable, (there are more buses if you walk through to Aldringham). The common provides peaceful walks. Everyone we met was very friendly, and while there isn't a garden, one can sit in the Methodist church grounds in the sun, listening to the birds. We hope to return before too long.

Difficult to find when you don’t have modern technology as the previous occupant stated in the visitors book we noticed Needs grabrails in the showers for older clients or non slip Bath mats for safety

This has to be one of the best kept and presented cottages we have stayed in.

Although tere were only two of us, four could stay in comfort and well provided for. We have really enjoyed this light and airy cottage. Its setting is tranquil and gives easy access to the coast communities with Aldeburgh coming out top but with many contenders. Snape Maltings is also worth a visit.

Beautiful setting, fabulous cottage. Super comfy and just full of awesome stuff! We went for a walk by the sea and enjoyed two of your great local pubs. We will definitely be back.

Lovely quiet location with close, convenient common for dog walking. Would definitely recommend. So close to the lovely, interesting town of Aldeburgh. We had a great stay.
