Sunrise

We had a wonderful weeks stay at Sunrise with its beautiful sea view.

The cottage was immaculate and beautifully presented, with everything in it you could need. It is ideally situated for visiting places in both Norfolk and Suffolk. It was very relaxing and we would love to come back.

We had the nicest week at Sunrise, the thought that has gone into the property is evident, especially the supplies left for children.

The hosts Gloria and Keith were so accommodating and helpful! We really hope to get a chance to stay again in the future - Will be recommending to everyone!

We had a wonderful week with good weather, our Grand daughter was delighted with her welcome gifts and our biscuits were lovely.

The bungalow was lovely, quiet and over looked the sea with some beautiful sun rises.

Lovely cosy bungalow very clean and comfortable.

Nice view over the sea, and very peaceful. Nice little extras of coffee and tea, drinking chocolate and some cakes, and milk for when we first got there. Good for touring round Suffolk. Am sure we will be back in the future.

A lovely holiday home, very quiet with beautiful views and a prime location for exploring the Suffolk coast.

Sunrise is a a little gem!

The perfect place for exploring the Suffolk coast with the sandy beaches of Lowestoft and Southwold a 5/15 min drive away. Framlingham, Raveningham Hall Gardens, Aldeburgh and Sutton Hoo also within 1 hour and definitely worth a visit. The cottage itself is very well equipped, clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. Be sure to have an evening walk from the cottage along Kessingland beach or watch the sun rise across the sea!

A great cottage in prime position overlooking the sea.

A good base for touring the area. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is small with the fridge and oven at a low level. However we ate out most of the time. The lounge is a nice size with big picture windows that overlook the sea. We enjoyed our time there. A home from home and would recommend Sunrise to anyone.

The cottage was clean, comfortable with every amenity. Nice touches around the cottage making it feel very homely for a couple or families. The cottage is ideally situated for all of the surrounding areas. Hopefully we will visit Sunrise again in the future. Thank you Mike

The place was cozy, clean and warm with a welcome tray of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits!

There was a trainer toilet seat and beach toys for children. There was a stool for the shower if needed and plenty of toilet rolls. Towels were lovely and soft. Tea towels were provided. There was also cleaning equipment! The bed was comfortable with pretty bedding. Hot water bottles were also available as well as an electric fire in case you got chilly. Lots of DVDs to suit everyone. We had a lovely, peaceful time and would definitely go again.

Spotlessly clean and well appointed cottage.

So much care has gone into making this a most enjoyable place to stay. So many “ extras”. The welcome tray even had decaf coffee, most unusual but very welcome. Fixtures and furnishings are many , all in good order and maintain a warm welcoming ambiance of a seaside cottage. Generally the cottage is well situated in a private well maintained complex with unobstructed sea views. All in all a most pleasant stay, highly recommend it and needless to say, we shall be back!

Our first stay at Sunrise, and it won't be the last.

....definitely a five stars score....it had everything we needed and more. We used it as a base for visiting various nature reserves, and to come back to the cottage after a long days walking was lovely. Sitting in the porch/conservatory , with the early morning cuppa, watching birds, the sea and ships was an ideal way to start the day. An excellent place to stay.

Well situated on the cliff top providing wonderful views of sunrise over the North Sea.

The area around Sunrise Cottage is very quiet with no passing traffic. Ideal location for visits to Southwold,Lowestoft, The Broads and Gt Yarmouth.

Perfect place for some rest & relaxation!

Fabulous sea views and a good base to travel along the coast to Lowestoft & Gt. Yarmouth. The cottage has everything you need for a very comfortable stay and was immaculate, loved the attention to detail of the decor in every room. It was a home from home we would love to return in the summer months.

Lovely bungalow with sea views .

Absolutely perfect very peaceful well located for exploring the area. Very useful information pack with directions to some great restaurants. Will be back next year.

It was very nice to arrive at a nice clean and well kept cottage. The grounds were kept nice and the walks were enjoyable and easy to the shop and pub could not have asked for more.Thank you Mrs Knight. John and Jacky.

Lovely relaxing sea view cottage.

Compact kitchen. Comfy beds. Everything you need for a holiday. Bit of a walk from car park to cottage with luggage so be aware of this.

Spotlessly clean and quiet location.

The property is situated perfectly for sea views and it is so peaceful and quiet. The property had everything and more you would need for a week's stay. So enjoyed the early mornings looking out to sea. Directions were easy to follow to the property with ample parking available. Can't fault anything

EVerything was brilliant, the only reason we marked down the comfort was because we are both disabled and found the sofa a bit too low to get out of easily.

But we managed and other than that I can't fault the accommodation.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a quiet but central position, with a sea view.

Cottage very well equipped and decorated. Easy access to walks, shops etc and to the main A12 by car. Lots of attractions within easy reach.There is a good bus service to Lowestoft, Norwich and Southwold too. But the best thing was the peaceful location. Felt really rested.

Sunrise was beautiful, spotlessly clean, had everything you would need for a stay away from home.

For us it was a great base for walking. We will be booking again.

Warmth comfort the beds are amazing.the owners provided extras which were very welcome.We had a wonderful week seaview the icing on the cake! Wish we had discovered it years ago.The owners are lovely too.go see for yourself!

A lovely, clean property.

Ideally situated for the Suffolk coast. Wonderful sea views and a very quiet site.

We were lucky to see the owner as we got to the car park and she gave us a lot of useful local information.

At the cottage we were very pleased with the cleanliness and the equipment in the cottage left nothing wanting, in all we were very comfortable and the bathroom was very good. The view was the icing on the cake across the lawns strait over the dunes to the sea and plenty of booklets with interesting walks and plenty of good eating places locally.

Sunrise was immaculately prepared and spotlessly clean.

It was well equipped and, in addition to the essentials, there were several treats for new arrivals. The situation of the bungalow was excellent with wonderful sea views. We could not have made a better choice.

This was the best holiday cottage we have stayed in.

It was well decorated to provide a homely and cosy feel. It was comfortable and exceptionally well appointed with more than ample cutlery and crockery etc. Everything was fully catered for and was the perfect base for a relaxing holiday. You could not do better.

Car is a must as no real coastal walks. accommodation 10/10 .nearby location 5/10.

The cottage was lovely and comfortable with great views.

The only downside was the size of the fridge/freezer which was mini and inadequate for the food needed for a self catering holiday.

Cottage immaculately clean and comfortable.

Had everything we wanted and was very well located near the Suffolk Coastal Path, with a clear view of the sunrise. Our first time in the area which we found fascinating. The countryside and coast was fascinating; we did a lot of walking and running. So many nice resorts nearby and many upmarket villages and towns e.g. Dunwich. We got to see the Broads as well and many historical places including Framlingham Castle, Sutton Ho and even Great Yarmouth with the faded grandeur of its Golden Mile.

Five star what else can you say.

The bungalow for a holiday let was exceptional.

All the contents inside and the position looking out to sea was absolutely wonderful. Well done the owners.

Lovely holiday home within easy reach of the beach.

Well equipped with a good set of kitchen knives - always a bonus! The chalet was very comfortable and it was also nice to sit out in the evening by the sea. Would recommend and book again.

Comfortable, very clean accommodation. Lovely view. In easy reach of great walks on the beach and countryside. Generous owners who left us some enjoyable presents.

The bungalow was located in a fabulous location, overlooking the sea and was very peaceful and quite but also close to ammineties.

Gloria and Keith who are the owners of the property, met us and made us very welcome by showing us around their immaculate bungalow. We would not hesitate to stay again as this was one of the best properties in a fantastic location that we have stopped at for many years.

Sunrise is in an ideal location overlooking the sea.

The bungalow was ideal, well equipped, clean and peaceful. We had a problem with the dvd which was immediately sorted. Mr & Mrs Knight run a very nice holiday home well worth the 4 stars.

Location of bungalow with perfect sea views.

Very well equipped and very comfortable.

I was pleased to find the condiments (salt, pepper oil and vinegar).

It can be so annoying when you are short of a pinch of salt or a dash of oil. 'Phone reception dodgy but better away from buildings.

This bungalow could have not been any more perfect ,there is not a thing I would change , did not see Sunrise but that was the weather ,not the hosts fault , they where as perfect as there bungalow .

We did see the rabbits playing outside .

Fantastic location.

Arrived 2 hours before check in time but owner came and made us most welcome. Chocolates, biscuits, tea, coffee and milk. Also nice thought re hot water bottles. Place is spotlessly clean and has all you need. Would recommend this property.

Lovely setting watching the wild life from the window and watching the ships and boats going by, we used this as a base as we have family living nearby

Good amenities in the village

The location was wonderful as were the sunrises.

Very clean and all we could want. We stayed over Xmas and the decorations and extras provided made our stay very festive. The owners went above and beyond.

When we arrived the owners of the property met us and kindly helped with our cases to the property they then showed us where everything was.

After they had left we found extra treats as in a box of biscuits and maltesers. We have been doing self catering holidays for forty years and we can honestly say this property is way and above anything we have been to before and when we visit this area again sunrise will be our first choice.

This cottage is just idyllic!

It is situated in a beautifully quiet location with wonderful sea and sunrise views (well worth getting up early for). It is spotlessly clean, with everything you could imagine catered for. It's like a home from home, can't recommend it highly enough.
