A lovely place to stay, clean and a short walk to where you can walk along the beach.

Wonderful!!

It is a beautiful cottage over looking the sea it was very clean and tidy comfortable beds a bath and shower on arrival there was tea coffee sugar and milk bottle of wine crisps and biscuits which was s lovely gesture it dog friendly and very quite they plenty of walks around for your dog text peter for the code for keys he text straight back I also text about a iron he answered back straight away peter keep in touch we will definitely be going back to Seascope cottage I.

Luxurious great views great position to visit the east coast

Another restful stay at this idyllic place on the coast with lovely views out to sea.

The couple of problems we had were dealt with expeditiously by Carl. We hope to return in the near future.

We have recently had another lovely week at this property.

Everything was provided for our comfort and we are returning for another week later in the year.

We have just returned from our holiday at Kessingland staying at Seascape Cottage.

Everything was satisfactory and we were able to cook some good food every day as the facilities for doing so were perfect. Plenty of hot water for baths and showers. A freezer which enabled me to take my dietary needs. It was home from home, but with the additional pleasure of the sea view. We shall be going back again next year.

Stayed mid September.

And this was our first visit to the area . Property was nice, well equipped and comfortable. In a good location for day trips. Great views of the sea. We could not fault it.

The property was clean and very close to Beach the management company who look after the property were very helpful nothing was to much trouble It was very well equipped

We had a lovely week in Seascope warm comfortable sea view to die for, we could live the rest of our lives in this house the sunrise is magnificent the house has everything you need comfy beds sofas well equipped kitchen we will be back again when Colin the other"squatter"is not in residence!

We had a lovely week at Seascope holiday cottage. Everything was to our liking and although we had a day of rain we were able to keep cosy and have our coffee overlooking the sea from the balcony. This is really home from home for us. We return twice a year every year. Colin and Margaret

We enjoyed a great break in a comfortable property with brilliant sea views.

First impressions of Kessingland were not brilliant but as we got to know it better our first impressions proved erroneous. I'd happily come back! It's a great place for beach and inland walks and the location is really good

Seascope cottage was more than we expected.

It is in a good location with lovely sea views and near all amenities. We would definitely return here.

Had a lovely week, 3rd time of visiting, and everything you needed in the house.

Great location for visiting other areas Lowestoft, Southwold is gorgeous and Great Yarmouth. Onii lol y thing I didn’t take my hairdryer and there wasn’t one but I managed. Will be back again.

Excellent stay as always, 6th year on the bounce and already planning a return.

A real home from home.

The cottage is very well appointed and very well looked after, we really enjoyed our stay.

The only problem was the TV aerial cable seemed to work sometimes then signal would drop and think there was a lose connection in the lead. Also the TV remote did not function very well so probably needs new batteries or the buttons are worn. The DVD remote did not work at all and when we looked to see if needed new batteries they wee leaking inside the handset. We reported these issues to the maintenace man so he could sort out for next arrivals. Apart from that it is a great house and very comfortable. Beds are a bit hard for us but that's just us. Could do with a freezer compartment to make ice or put ice cream in but apart from that a great place to stay. I know there are no bins in the house so we took our own bin bags and we had no issues. The bathrooms could do with a couple more hooks and a towel ring/rail near the sinks. Would definately recommend.

The overall experience was amazing.

Support was really good from a man called Pete. Would loved the corner suite instead of 2 small sofas but like I said the experience was amazing . It was clean and fresh. The local amenities covered what you needed it if you didn't need to go anywhere. The walk on the seafront to lowestoft is great and you can catch the 99 bus back to the house

We have stayed in many cottages with Sykes, this is the first one that did not have bins for waste, this was very awkward as the bins were in the car park, which meant you need bin bags to put rubbish in to take to the bins, again not something you normally take on holiday.

no cleaning products such as bleach for the toilets or cleaning spray for the kitchen(not something you would normally buy or take). It would have been nice to have an ice box in the fridge. The views are fabulous and it was very peaceful stay

We have had many happy holidays at Sunscope and hope to have many more.

It offers all the facilites required for a good holiday.

Lovely comfortable accommodation with a nice sea view.

The corner shower was great. A lovely welcome pack as well. There's only a larder fridge. It didn't effect us this time but if we were there in the summer I would miss not being able to freeze some ice blocks.

We have just returned from a week at this property, and had a really lovely week.

The weather was mixed but in spite of this the accommodation was perfect whatever the weather. The facilities are ideal, all we needed to make some good meals, and the views of the sea are the icing on the cake. It's our favourite holiday destination.

Had a most enjoyable week in mid October weather kind to us.

We spoke to at least 3 owners of properties on site & was encouraged by how happy they are there. Property was clean & comfortable location great. If owners want to reach 5* they could consider hand towels for each person + 2pillows per bed. Luckily we took our own. The reasoning behind having no bins in the property due to lingering odours does not make any sense, as you have to keep food waste & any other rubbish hanging around on the worktop over night, it is totally impractical to walk through a very poorly lit carpark in the rain & dark every time you have rubbish.

A good place to stay, nice outlook over the sea and a good base to explore the area

Very nice with a great view.

Lots of DVD's supplied. Nicely decorated. Well equipped. TV remote needs replacing. One three seat sofa would be nice because both were very small two seat. No rubbish bin in the household at all. Had the information warned me, I would have taken bin bags. Last part of directions were poor. We had to wander around to find it, lots of 'private ' signs made us think we were in the wrong place. Information booklet was written in 2015, with no mention of 'Sykes' anywhere.

Excellent location, lovely place to stay I didn't give full marks for facilities because the shower in the upstairs bathroom did not clear fast enough and being a shallow tray water spilled out over on to the floor.

Cooker had food stuck to element.

Wrong door code given and inner door lock to entrance needs fixing. Everything else was lovely and the view is spectacular. Would definitely stay again as overall the property is lush.

Small freezer would have made the property perfect in the hot weather to store ice cream and make ice for drinks

Returning for 6th time, feels like a home from home.

No need to go any further if you don't want to, close to shops and eateries. Stunning scenery, look forward to returning next year.

Really enjoyed our stay at seascope ; it proved to be a perfect base for going off exploring the stunning coastline and surrounding areas.

Having the garden with a private entrance to the dunes was a highlight of the property and a perfect quick access for one eager pup. Having a 2nd bathroom off the kitchen with a bath was also ideal for cleaning pup down after a dip in the sea. **The property doesn't have a freezer or icebox so might be worth bringing your own ice making machine if the though of a warm g&t of an evening is not appealing. On a whole we thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay and would highly recommend.

The lock on the downstairs toilet is is very stiff.

Afraid a child could lock themselves in and unable to unlock it from the outside.

Seascope far exceeded our expectations, with its best feature being the location.

A stroll down the steps led to the vast grassy dunes and the pebbly, dog-friendly beach beyond. Considering we were visiting in peak summer time, it was like having the beach to yourself, with other beach users just a speck in the distance. . The property itself was tidy, light, clean and ideal for our requirements, and the view of the morning sunrise from the main bedroom was truly amazing.

5th visit , always enjoyable , a real home from home

This was our second visit to Seascope and we had a wonderful time.

The cottage was as well maintained as it was 5 years ago infact most of the furniture had been upgraded since our last visit. I would like to say that we would return again but looking at the vast increases you have imposed for next year {almost £2250 for the same week} it is very unlikely

The position of the cottage was excellent as there were lawns in the front which led down to the cliff face with its own private gate to take us down to the beach and excellent views of the sea with yachts sailing by.

the hot water needs to be turned down as it is far to hot and in fact it's almost boiling it would be nice to have a refrigerator with an ice box and a larger frying pan and some more teaspoons but the beds are very comfortable and of course the views wonderful

An ideal place to have a very relaxing holiday, peaceful with a great view of the sea, we hope to return

A special thank to your Becki who, when you had to cancel our original booking literally the morning we due to leave for our cottage near Holt, found this special place for us.

The views were brilliant and the ability to just walk down onto the beach from our cottage was brilliant. Lovely and well kept place and our thanks to the owner who let us use it. my only comment was if they had left a bucket and mop |I would have washed the floor before we left. Nevertheless this place is highly recommended.

We have just returned from a week staying at Seascape and have really enjoyed it.

The cottage is comfortable and well maintained and the view is spectacular. We will definitely be returning later in the year for another enjoyable week.

We love this cottage and return time and time again in fact we book the next visit while we are there!

Its a lovely cosy cottage beautiful new comfy beds well furnished the owners a joy to do buisness with. I cannot praise Sykes enough pleasant, courteous and quick, efficient, makes our holidays perfect. And the spectacular view, even in Febuary the sunrise never fails to lift the heart.

Was a lovey setting, and was exactly as the description, any questions we had were answered very efficiently and then followed up to ensure there were no further problems.

Beds were comfy and the view on Christmas morning was stunning looking out on clear blue skies and the sea as a mill pond. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone visiting the area, especially if you are a dog owner, there are some beautiful walks and the beach is dog friendly. Thankyou for a great Christmas week, made even better as the property had been festivly decorated which was a fantastic touch.

We loved the beautiful view of the sea from the bedroom each morning.

The accommodation was very comfortable although lacked attention to detail. The shower upstairs dribbled out small drops of water and was unusable. The shower downstairs kept sliding down and was difficult to use because of this. The kitchen utensils for cooking were very poor quality. We had to buy a large frying pan and the one there was small and very worn. The curtains in the lounge were hanging off in parts. The interior front door didn’t lock. The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. However, the location was wonderful. You must keep your dog on a lead on the front green area but once you get to the beach, down some very steep steps, they can run free. The Sailor’s Home pub is to the right, about a ten minute walk along the beach, and serves home cooked food at a reasonable price. It’s dog friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our week but probably won’t return due to the above mentioned points. These things make a wealth of difference to me and would be easily put right.

Very comfortable cottage.

Fantastic position overlooking the sea. Well equipped and clean. Only downside were the showers. Very low pressure especially upstairs.

Curtains at front window in need of repair.

kitchen utensil 's bit cheap especially the potatoes masher Shower upstairs bit slow & downstairs the cold water tap was not usable. Otherwise a lovely cottage in a beautiful location we shall return again .

Back bedroom needs a mirror for ladies getting ready to go out .

My friend struggled with a small hand held mirror. Need an internal bin as you don't take rubbish out immediately so end up with recyle stuff hanging about looking a mess.Used the bag for messy black bin stuff but again it's hanging about on show.maybe a nice bin in the corner of the front porch. Everything else was delightful loved sitting on the upstairs bedroom balcony taking in the view. Thank you was a lovely holiday.

Everything about this holiday was perfect the holiday cottage was well furnished warm and inviting.

2 bathrooms in a 2 bedroomed house is a luxury. Wonderful sea view upstairs balcony and a small sofa in the seafacing bedroom was the icing on the cake.we watched the waves ships and dog walkers on the beach on the sofa! A lazy wonderful week.already booked for next year.

We would have liked an enclosed area to allow the dog out without having to put a lead on and take it for a walk.

Generally we would pick a cottage that has a garden.

the location the view very handy to get around

The location absolutely brilliant, views across a well kept grassed area straight to the sea.

Very quiet and relaxing, car almost essential, within easy reach of Lowestoft, Southwold and Aldeburgh and for a bit longer day out, travel to Felixtowe (this town amazed us, really nice and well kept) with it's nature reserve and container ship watching as they come and go from the port. All in all a great stay in Suffolk.

On Arriving cottage had not been cleaned.

Went back at 3.30 st cottage not been cleaned was told it would be 2 more hours before we could get in. Finally got in at 5.45 to no loo roll dirty curtains on patio doors, bedroom lamps dirty and the shade falling apart. Very little water pressure on both upstairs and downstairs shower. Sofas totally different to what was in the pictures at time of booking. In able to lock inner patio doors no key plus hand clip broken. Boiler in master bedroom came on 3 times throughout the night every night. Boiler not boxed in so it’s the first thing you see when you open the wardrobe. Second time we have stayed at the complex different cottage last year. This year loved the holiday let down by accommodation.

This is the second time we have stayed with Sykes and are returning in December and have had superb time however on both visits it's just tiny things that let it down for example The kettles in both houses are always in very poor condition The upstairs shower had no power The inside patio door did not lock There is no kitchen bin The blinds in the bedroom were falling to pieces They may sound petty but they are things you use every day and just let it down a little bit it's just attention to detail that spoils an otherwise superb accommodation it's not so bad that we would never return,we are there again for Christmas!

Just updating the well used items would be the icing on the cake and doesn't cost a fortune Otherwise a cracking holiday with superb views first class beaches and Mediterranean weather!!!!!! We will return time and time again Many thanks for a great holiday Susan & Mark Shaw

it would have been nice to have a small freezer,overall the holiday was good and excellent location,we had to contact owner and he was very helpful in sorting our problem out

we had a great quiet week at this property.

it was warm and comfortable even when the weather wasn't so kind. The best bit was waking to the bright sunrise through the front windows, where the view of the sea and beach area was amazing. operation of the door locks and window handles were quite stiff and in need of a service but were functional.

The cottage was extremely well equipped.

Location was perfect for beach walks with our dog. The area between the 2 sets of French doors was perfect for drying off us and the dog. Internet was good enough to stream catch up tv. Pub is also a short walk and dog friendly

The key safe is a bit of a problem it needs a little wd 40 or possibly replacement The lock to the steps was impossible to open possibly due to the weather but it's not as descriped by jml as a key code lock it's just operated by a large key .

All in all its a lovely cottage and to be able to lay in bed and watch the waves is a sheer delight

Owner was most polite and helpful when there was need to contact him.

A good site with excellent parking.

One or two small household appliances were missing and would have helped. We left a suggested list. The site is spacious. Excellent beds.

Fabulous cottage just minutes from the beach we walked miles along the coast and actually our springer pup was worn out a difficult thing to do !

Quiet area with fantastic views especially from the bedroom.

Internal door doesn't lock otherwise everything else was fine & the cottage was in a beautiful location one of the nicest we have ever had the beach was a joy and totally unspoilt no complaints at all thanks hope to come back next March.

An excellent property in great condition.

Although sleeping four there were only two cereal bowls. The corkscrew was broken and there was no can opener. Very minor defficiencies although quite significant when you are trying to open a non ring pull can ! Lovely location for great beach walks. Would highly recommend and would definitely be interested in rebooking.

I have never been into a rented cottage that was so clean and inviting,especially the main bedroom with the butterfly duvet cover.

Very Lovely .The one thing I will say is that a harder and higher armchair would be fitting for older couples as we are,and I am disabled so I found the sofas too low and soft for me. Also a dishwasher would be nice too.

The most tranquill and relaxing we have ever had.

The only problem was the distance we had to travel. Pity the property and location wasn't a lot nearer!!
