This was probably the best experience we've had with Sykes Reservations so far.
We had a wonderful stay. The property is picturesque and incredibly well-maintained. The town where the property is located has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you.
The accommodation itself was exactly as advertised and did not disappoint, however we could have done with wrtten instructions as to how to use the heating!
The other issue is that the settee was not the most comfortable - we would have preferred a more "lounging and cosy" sofa. With regards to the outside, the landing outside the entrance door has puddles when it rained which meant you dragged water into the property when you went in. Maybe a slight slope would address this. The biggest isue for us was the facilities advertised. We only booked the property because of the availabilty of the hot-tubs. it was not until we were leaving home that we realised that they would not be available, and at that point it was too late to go anywhere else
