We had a great stay.
Perfect bolt hole for us to stay and meet with family in Southwold. Property looked as expected and described. Kitchen was a little lacking on equipment if you wanted to cook a meal there. Some sweet wrappers in 2 of the bedrooms that hadn’t been disposed of… maybe there as it had not been hoovered?!?! No hoover in the property so when coming to tidy up after our dog this was not the easiest with just a broom and dustpan. On entering the property the first time a slight smell in the living room….maybe a doggy accident?!?! All very small issues that didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay. Thank you.
Driftwood was even better than we expected!
A lot of time and effort was spent making it beautiful but also comfortable. The kitchen was well laid out and equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom was amazing! Like it was straight from a showroom! The bedrooms were a great size and beautifully decorated. The en-suite, although tiny, was very convenient. Outside space was excellent. We had undercover space to store a kayak. The garden furniture was well placed in the sunny spots. The pool table in the games room was a great attraction for the evening. The ladies who clean and look after the properties were so friendly and helpful and obviously happy in their work. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach and there are places to eat within a 5 minute walk. Recommend the Waterside restaurant and the Beach chip shop!!
Nice little place, we did enjoyed.
Nice bed and nice bathroom (downstairs?), kitchen good. Only a couple of things that perhaps could be improved,: 1.- Sofa not comfortable at all. 2.- A wellcome little hamper could be nice.
