“The Annexe is so beautifully decorated and welcoming!”

The facilities were amazing and the cleanliness was 10/10! The garden was beautiful too and all enclosed and safe for our dog! We were blessed with lovely weather for October but we still couldn't help light the log burner in the evening! We decided to take our own food to cook and there was everything we could possibly need in the kitchen! Plus a lovely welcome pack too! We decided to take our own food to cook and there was everything we could possibly need in the kitchen! Plus a lovely welcome pack too! The area has some beautiful walks along river and the view across to Harwich and felixstowe was so interesting to watch, especially while having a drink at the Bristol arms pub! We didn't eat there but had a drink each day after our walk! The landlord was friendly! Chris and Lorna the hosts of the annexe were lovely too! Chris gave us a warm welcome and a run down of what we needed to know and Lorna popped out before we left to check we had, had a lovely stay! We will definitely be back again in the future! A gorgeous little find!!

We are really chuffed you enjoyed your stay and we really appreciate that you took the time to tell the world with your lovely review. We can totally get how you enjoyed watching the comings and goings of the harbour/estuary from the Bristol Arms; watching the sunset over the water of the River Stour with a pint in hand is a favourite of ours!
