Sofas and mattresses on single beds very uncomfortable, recliner chair still not working. Walk in shower totally inefficient, either a trickle of water or nothing and luke warm Only one safely bath matt to share between both showers and no safely rails for either shower. Reviews are misleading.
Thank you for your feedback. We had a request from the guest occupying
Swallow Barn in the week prior to your visit. The request was to stay in
Swallow Barn for an extra 4 days. As a matter of courtesy, we contacted you
asking if you would be prepared to transfer to the other cottage. Both
properties and their specific advantages, having been fully discussed and
explained with you. The other cottage, which incidentally, is similar in
facilities on offer and is also rated 4 star by the AA. We offered this as
an alternative, and that no change would be made if you didn't want to. You
accepted the change and no pressure was brought to make the change.
Furthermore, all guests are given a guided tour and explanation of the
property. At no time during this, nor during you stay, were any of your
concerns you have subsequently highlighted, brought to our attention. There
are adequate safety rails positioned in both bathrooms for your personal
safety and since your stay, we have updated the beds and sofas. To
reiterate, at no time were any of your concerns brought to our attention
during your stay.
