“No dvd as advertised.”

No radio as advertised. Both toilets smelled and looked like they had not been cleaned in ages. Carpets were dirty and the settee had collapsed at the one end. Many people before us had complained about how uncomfortable it was but still nothing done about it.

“Great Location.”

Great Host, who actually spent time explaining all things when we arrived. A good Co-Op just 5 mins up the road. Good Pubs around. A lovey clean spacious cottage. Use of the Hosts pool if you wanted.

“Interesting place with some old and some new parts.”

Liked the water collection and solar heated water but took a while to get really hot water. Taps a bit hit and miss as probably need new washers. No mixer tap in basin 2. Circular glass table needs maintenance. Sofas a bit soft and recliner didn't recline. Otherwise quite well equipped and functional. We didn't use the pool at all. Single level accommodation with hand rails etc in place for the less mobile. Can easily miss the entrance to the site.

“A really nice holiday cottage, roomy, warm, clean and well equipped.”

A couple of silly maintenance issues, which I didn't have the opportunity to discuss with the owner. All the seating in the living room was soft and low and very comfortable, but with our mobility issues getting up and down was quite difficult. On the whole, very good accommodation.

“This was a lovely stay with my mum and nan, the facilities were perfect being on one level for my nan.”

Very clean and warm. The owner was very helpful, walked us round and explained how to use the heating, oven and tv. He then showed us the swimming pool and the rules, we booked every evening through the owner. Great clean swimming facilities. Myself and my mum felt very relaxed after an evening swim, then cosied up with a hot chocolate in the evening. We all had a great nights sleep. Very happy and would book here again in the future!

“Very nice place and would definitely return.”

Reason for the 4 scores is that the shower mat was quite dirty underneath. The second reason is that the main settee is showing its age as use sink into it due to lack of support/padding. Owner Andrew lovely guy and interesting to listen too
