“The cottage was immaculate, lovely and clean and everything we needed.”
Unfortunately when we wanted to use the shower, no water! The bath in the other shower was very steep. We are 2 elderly ladies and found it very difficult to use the shower over the bath. We arrived on a Friday. When we contacted Sykes on the Saturday, the person who answered the phone said they couldn't find a Manager and would phone back in an hour. We never got a phone call. We decided to phone back on the Monday and once again was told we would get a phone call. We never did but in the afternoon a maintenance person arrived at the house and sorted out the problem. He found out also one of the keys was damaged and wouldn't work. However we would visit again because the house was perfect. It was just a shame as we felt we had lost 3 days of our holiday.
