“An excellent place to stay, so quiet and comfy beds, we slept well every night.”

Very well equipped kitchen, nicely decorated home, fluffy towels, nice garden, very pleased with it all. A welcoming home after a days sight seeing. A short walk to the peaceful village with many pubs, eateries.

“A great little house for exploring the locality.”

Very clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed and the back garden was perfect for sitting out and eating/reading. We were even accompanied by a couple of pigeons nurturing their young in a nest in the tree overlooking the kitchen window! But no doubt they will be gone by now.

“We had a wonderful stay at Church Farm Lane.”

It is a beautiful property, well maintained and very clean. Everything you need for a home from home trip. We stayed during the period of hot weather in June and would have benefited from the use of a couple of fans. Its a great location for walking into the lovely town which has lots of little independent shops, great takeaways and The Angel pub serves great food and is very welcoming. Its also a great base for getting out and about to visit the Suffolk coastal towns and countryside.

“The cottage was immaculate, lovely and clean and everything we needed.”

Unfortunately when we wanted to use the shower, no water! The bath in the other shower was very steep. We are 2 elderly ladies and found it very difficult to use the shower over the bath. We arrived on a Friday. When we contacted Sykes on the Saturday, the person who answered the phone said they couldn't find a Manager and would phone back in an hour. We never got a phone call. We decided to phone back on the Monday and once again was told we would get a phone call. We never did but in the afternoon a maintenance person arrived at the house and sorted out the problem. He found out also one of the keys was damaged and wouldn't work. However we would visit again because the house was perfect. It was just a shame as we felt we had lost 3 days of our holiday.

“One of the best holiday lets we have stayed in.”

The location was quiet but only a short stroll into the town centre and Halesworth itself is ideal for visiting lots of other places in the area, especially the coast. The cottage itself was beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you could need for a great holiday, the outdoor space was an added bonus in the hot weather we enjoyed during our stay, we also found the interior stayed cool and airy despite the heat. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit our family in Suffolk.

“The house is in a superb location just a few minutes walk from the charming small town of Halesworth.”

It was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and very comfortable. Cooking facilities were excellent although there are also lovely restaurants snd takeaways within a few minutes walk. We were lucky to have some warm weather in March so the garden and it's comfortable furniture were really appreciated. My wife struggles a bit with stairs so welcomed the downstairs toilet and enjoyed its quirky decoration. We thoroughly recommend 23 Church Farm Lane and hope to return.

23 Church Farm Lane is a charming holiday home situated in the market town Halesworth, less than 10 miles from Southwold. The property offers comfortable space for a party of five to enjoy. Positioned across two floors, complete with private parking and a fully enclosed garden. On the ground floor is a spacious kitchen/dining room with french doors opening out onto the garden at the rear, as well as the living room and cloakroom towards the front of the property. Carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor, with three ample sized bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and a family bathroom. To the rear is an enclosed courtyard garden featuring a table and chairs, perfect for dining alfresco. There is off-road private parking for one car. Ground Floor Entering into the spacious hallway with hard flooring, to the right is the living room, to your left is the cloakroom, and the hallway leads to the kitchen/dining area. Sitting Room Positioned at the front of the property, with tranquil colours and designs filling this room, creating a light and inviting space, which is the perfect position to retreat to at the end of the day. Ample seating is provided with a four seater sofa, arm chair and two foot rests. A Smart TV has been provided for your entertainment. Kitchen/Dining Room Positioned at the rear of the property, with views out across the garden. Natural light fills this room through the large window and french doors.
