The Hayloft is a lovely holiday home waiting for you to take advantage of the picturesque South Norfolk countryside.
With an enclosed courtyard area, spacious bedroom, inviting living room, and well-fitted kitchen this property offers you convenience and comfort during your stay.
When outside you can sit comfortably and take in the surrounding 8 acres of woodland and lakes or enjoy a BBQ.
Once indoors you will find a kitchen/diner with everything you could need for an evening in around the dining table or putting your feet up in front of the large Smart TV and catching up on all your favourite shows.
Before enjoying a reviving shower after the day’s activities take in the enchanting view from the bathroom window.

Perfect property for a relaxing break We were warmly welcomed by Carol and the milk, butter, eggs and lovely toiletries were really appreciated.
The Hayloft is conveniently situated just off the beaten track in a quiet and peaceful location, ideally placed for exploring both Norfolk and Suffolk. The cottage is just as it should be, comfortable and spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. We had a great relaxing break would be very happy to stay again.

She was so helpful with all information needed nothing was too much trouble. The Hayloft was better than the picture gallery shows, so comfortable, quiet and extremely clean with everything that we needed. A good design with the kitchen on the ground floor and the Living Room. Bedroom and bathroom on the first floor with good views, the bed was very comfortable and we had the added bonus of the use of the tennis court. Had a wonderful second stay at The Hayloft, clean, comfy, cosy and so quiet.
A lovely warm welcome from Carole and so generous with all the arrival gifts. Bed so comfy slept really well and woke up to nature watch from the bathroom window with squirrels, monk jacks, rabbits, a heron in the pond and so many other birds. A great relaxing break. Would highly recommend for anyone that just wants a relaxing holiday.

Although the property is delightful, with beautiful grounds, it is a little remote and there are no facilities of any kind nearby.
Second time we have stayed here, it has everything you need plus a great wildlife haven to walk around in the evening

We have had a lovely week at The Hayloft.
Nicest property we have stayed in Norfolk/Suffolk area. Carol and Bill were great hosts and the milk, butter, eggs and gorgeous toiletries were greatly appreciated. The property is very comfortable and had everything you needed for a home from home stay. It is in a great area for various places to visit with it being on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. The outside space is wonderful. We have come home rested and are already planning our next visit. We rarely go back to the same place but The Hayloft will definitely be a return visit for us.

The Hayloft was a delightful place to stay, it was spotlessly clean and there were lots of individual touches to make the stay even better, such as local eggs and milk in the fridge and games and books.
It was very convenient for the places we wanted to visit in Norfolk and Suffolk and we loved wandering around the grounds.

We loved the Hayloft it was very comfortable.
Carol was very friendly on our arrival & then left us alone, perfect. The location was great for our needs and we were able to store our bike under cover.

The surroundings are so peaceful and we enjoyed the paths and lakes, particularly on the sunny afternoons when we relaxed in the outside seating. Just WOW!
What a beautiful last minute booking and what a find. The Hayloft is literally a beautiful home from home with everything you could possibly want. The attention to detail is amazing, comfortable inside and stunning scenery outside. Set in 8 acres with ponds and a lovely area to sit in the garden, it was so peaceful and lots of beautiful birdsong. Carol had even supplied binoculars. Beds were comfy, the most amazing pillows (we have ordered some) and toiletries, hairdryer supplied. Carol also supplied locally produced eggs, milk and buttter which was a thoughtful touch. There was a very helpful selection of information leaflet for the local attractions etc. Carol was a lovely and friendly person. Thank you so much for our wonderful 3 days of peace and perfection. Highly recommend staying here.

A beautiful cottage, with everything you could possibly need including a lovely welcome pack of milk, local eggs and butter .
Immaculately maintained and extremely comfortable along with lovely view from the garden. Really enjoyed our evening stroll around the grounds and watching the wildlife. Ideal location for exploring the area and cycling on the local lanes. Our host Carol was extremely helpful and thoughtful, with lots of local knowledge. We will definitely return.

This property has everything!
Literally! The attention to detail is amazing with lots of nice touches- milk, butter, farm eggs in the fridge, tea,coffee you name it- it was there. The cottage itself was absolutely lovely and clean with the best view ever of the land with two ponds and wildlife to watch. Also there is a tennis court for the more athletic!!! The owners are extremely friendly and informative of places to go, eat etc which we found very useful as we were new to the area. Definitely a lovely cottage to stay in.

Superb property, care has been taken to detail and hard to find anything missing.
Set in its own grounds with two large ponds and wildlife passing through its easy to just get lost in the peaceful surroundings. Tennis court also available to the fit and able and of course us fit a fun knock about. Our hosts were superb and many a morning or evening chat leaning over the garden fence checking on where we were going and what we had done and then adding local knowledge for the next days plans. So hard to find a fault, basically there is none. We will return.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Hayloft.
The property was in a beautiful setting and we enjoyed wandering around the ponds and spotting the wildlife. Everything was super clean and comfortable with lovely furniture and pictures. We would be hard pressed to ever find better self catering accommodation! Close to the Broads, beautiful houses and gardens and small market towns as well. Thank you for everything.

Fantastic little cottage and a great location for a countryside break near the sea.
The property was really clean, spacious, and well fitted out making it a brilliant home-from-home, and a great place to come back to after days out. In addition, the owners went above and beyond to accommodate our little one, providing cot, bedding, baby bath, stairgates, and toys which kept her happy for the whole week.

This accommodation was perfect for our short break in Norfolk.
It is positioned in the countryside but is within striking distance of all the seaside towns. The property was really well equipped and we wanted for nothing during our stay.

The Hay Loft was a delightful property tucked away in 8 acres of tranquil country side.
We could not believe how quiet it was which made our stay extremely relaxing. Every thing inside was above standard it was spotless and well cared for. We had everything that we would want and carol had left a welcome pack that was much appreciated. We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival. While we were there we were lucky enough to see rabbits pheasants all manner of birds and even had a visit from a Muntjac deer all at the bottom of our garden. We would certainly return to this delightful property which is situated so as it is easy to reach the local beaches plus plenty of places of local interest.
We wake up every day realising how lucky we are, so it is truly very special and rewarding when our guests embrace the surroundings, enjoy their stay and return home refreshed and relaxed. We came in search of peace & quiet and certainly found it at The Hayloft.
After a warm welcome from Carol, we also found the property and beautiful surrounding grounds perfect for us. The Hayloft is in a quiet location and a great base to explore Norfolk. We loved a boat trip on The Broads and a little ferry at Beccles quayside that takes you 3 miles upriver to a lovely community pub. Very best wishes to Carol & Billie and thank you for a lovely stay.

Hosts can not do enough for you , very welcoming . Good location 30 mins to most places some longer . Very peaceful surroundings, nice lake to walk round on grounds . Had the best week , would recommend this property . Also have another accommodation on the same site ,also great .
