This was possibly the best holiday let we've ever stayed in.
Carol's attention to detail made such a difference. A really warm welcome but never intrusive, a perfect host. The location is very central to visit both coast charming Bungay and Norwich of course as well as the broads. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed staying at The Grain Store.
The accommodation was comfortable, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The location was convenient for exploring the Waveney Valley and Norwich and was extremely quiet. Our host, Carol, was friendly and helpful whilst respecting our privacy. We would be very happy to stay there again.

The accommodation was spot on, one of the best we have had so far.
Every thing we required was there and it made the stay really comfortable and relaxing. The grounds and wildlife were brilliant.. The hosts left us a welcome pack which was appreciated, and they were very helpful with any queries we had. We enjoyed it so much we have booked again.

The Grain Store was a beautiful, well equipped and comfortable cottage.
It sits in 8 acres of grounds that were a delight to walk around - there was so much wildlife to see! The owner Carol was very welcoming and provided us with a generous welcome pack. The Grain Store was a great base from which to explore the local area - villages, towns, Norwich city, coastal resorts, nature reserves, the Broads - there was so much to see and do.

When we fist arrived at the grain store our first impression was wow what a lovely property with beautiful grounds.
Carol the owner came to greet us and show us around the Grain Store. Carol was lovely and really made us feel welcome. Our home for the next week was perfect,well furnished clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. the location was perfect being set in the Norfolk/Suffolk countryside which is absolutely beautiful. Carol had left us milk,eggs,coffee,tea and sugar for our arrival she then brought us a bottle of her very own apple juice to enjoy. It was so lovely sitting in the evenings looking towards the seven acres of her land seeing deer,rabbits,pheasants and partridges. I enjoyed many walks around the lakes and woods just outside our door. We loved both the property and the Norfolk/Suffolk area. We enjoyed the city of Norwich,the grey seals at Horsey Gap but overall the Grain Store is the perfect location for visiting a wide area of this beautiful part of the country. Thank you Carol for being such a good host to your wonderful property. We really enjoyed our holiday.

Our week at The Grain Store was absolutely lovely.
The accommodation was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. The grounds were delightful, with kingfishers, owls and deer. Carol was a perfect host, very friendly & respectful with helpful ideas and suggestions. The local pub and farm shop (which did excellent breakfasts) were both very good.

Very nice cottage, well equipped, clean, quiet, warm and comfortable.
Nothing at all to complain about. There’s parking right outside the door which is a big bonus for us. There are also 8 acres of grounds with wildlife to explore and two lakes, all on the doorstep, so to speak. Carol was friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, we enjoyed our chat with her about other countries. Can’t fault it!

The best cottage we have ever stayed in.
Very comfortable . The welcome gift of eggs butter and milk much appreciated, as were all the toiletries. Carol makes you feel at home and many thanks to her for dressing my elbow after I had a nasty fall when out. Really enjoyed our week in Norfolk. We had some lovely meals in Wheatacres White Lion,The Bell Inn and Masala Gardens .

The Grain store is an absolute gem.
It is the Kylie of holiday let's ( small but perfectly formed). Set in 8 acres of wildlife friendly grounds, with very high spec facilities and a very comfortable bed. Carol is a delight, very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

We have just got back from a relaxing stay at the grain store.
Accommodation was great, comfortable and very clean. The owners have clearly thought about what customers need and provide all essentials and much more besides. The welcome pack of milk, eggs and butter was gratefully received. We enjoyed a wander around the grounds. We would definitely recommend.

This is such a superb place to stay.
The accommodation is perfect and has everything you need, the bed is extremely comfortable, it is set in a lovely quiet area and the owners are really lovely. We had a fantastic break and would highly recommend. Definitely 10 out of 10.

Great place to base yourself to get about the surrounding areas.
Set in peaceful rural location, but easy to get to. Visited by plenty of wildlife and all overseen by lovely hosts.

Really lovely property.
The grounds are gorgeous and full of wildlife. The pheasants and partidges visited every day along with a deer, from time to time. We even had a jay on the patio. An automatic gate would have been nice but the excerise did us good. Luckily the weather was good except for our last day. Overall a very relaxing stay.

The accommodation provided everything we needed for our holiday.
Inside it was cosy with a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. From our sofa we could watch the wildlife outside in the beautiful grounds of the owners. Our patio provided a sunny spot for us to sit both at the start and end of the day. It was a great location for exploring the area and we had a busy week visiting Beccles, Bungay, Somerleyton, Great Yarmouth and Thorpeness, enjoying rowing, a vineyard tour and a day at the races. A lovely week.

We were very pleased with both the location and the property owner.
A couple of minor issues were discussed with the owner who was very positive. If we need to stay in the area again we will certainly put this property at the top of our list.

What a little gem.
The setting is wonderful and you are free to walk around the substantial grounds. Parking is directly in front of the property which was our top priority for our new motorcycle. The owner Carol was there to greet us - very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable too. Eco friendly products were plentiful and a lot of thought has gone into making The Grain Store a lovely place to stay. Thank you Carol.

What a lovely place to stay.
Our hosts were very obliging and left milk eggs and butter also tea and coffee which was very nice of them. I would definitely recommend staying there as it was so comfortable and the grounds were fabulous to walk round. So private as well.

What a wonderful relaxing stay we had which was what we needed.
Can’t thank Carol enough for all her help. Everything had been provided and some extra special touches put this cottage above so many we had stayed before. We was so lucky with the weather and was able to appreciate the beautiful quite surrounding. If you want to adventure out the Broads, Great Yarmouth, lovely beaches and small villages are easy to get too.

The Grain Store is an absolute gem of a find.
The owners, Carol and Bill, have obviously worked very hard to provide everything you could possibly want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It's the small things that really count - like speciality tea bags and plenty of dishwasher tablets rather than just a couple. There were even new toothbrushs and toothpaste in case you'd forgotten to bring one. The location is wonderful and you can be totally private. There's plenty of space to park right outside the property in a secure gravel drive and lots of grounds to wander through in the evening. We enjoyed our weekend stay so much we've even booked a week later in the year.
