The open-plan area is the heart of the home, featuring a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare your scrumptious foods, a dining area for enjoying intimate meals for two, and an inviting sitting room to unwind.
Here, you can cosy up with your loved one and relax in front of the Smart TV and electric fire, perfect for those chillier evenings.
The property boasts a double bedroom, complete with an en-suite for your convenience, featuring a basin, heated towel rail, and WC. Additionally, there is a separate shower room, fitted with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, offering plenty of space to freshen up after a day of exploring the local area.
Step outside to discover the enclosed wraparound garden, a haven of tranquility with a wild flower meadow, patio area with charcoal BBQ, and far-reaching countryside views.
Here, you can enjoy alfresco dining using the provided furniture, or perhaps spend a cool evening huddled around the fire pit, where you may be able to see owls, kestrels, deer and hares.
Venture into Bury St Edmonds to visit the Abbey Gardens or the historical Theatre, followed by a bite to eat from one the country pubs or restaurants.
Take a trip to Lavenham, a medieval wool town, where you may spot the famous landmarks from Harry Potter.

We spent a week at The Hoot in August and it was great.
The place was very clean and comfortable (amazing shower pressure, by the way). Katz and Mike left a bottle of wine and some snacks for us, and checked in via WhatsApp to see how we were getting on and if we needed anything. They even provided a bed, water bowls, and treats for our dog. There is a new barbecue which we unfortunately didn’t get to use due to the dry weather and warning of fire risk. The outside area is neat and clean, and so quiet. We saw hares (no deer unfortunately), and kestrels, and heard owls at night. Would definitely recommend and will plan to come back soon.
The Hoot is truly a little bit of paradise in the suffolk countryside.
The views are spectacular along with the peace and quiet. You won't think you were a 2 minute walk from the village and the local pub. Our dog loved the large enclosed garden to run around in and the country walks straight from the door. Think its probably the nicest place we've stayed in. A lovely welcome pack even included treats for our dog Rosie. The whole place was spotless and extremely well equipped. My husband apprecited the proper bbq to cook on. Kaz the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning!!!
