    “Seafarers is small but perfectly formed.”

    Perfect for my holiday. It was very well thought out and very comfortable. The kitchen was one of the best I have ever used during a self- catering break as all the ‘white goods’ were full sized. and there was enough work surface - even a cupboard to store my groceries. The house stayed cool in the hot weather, with plenty of hot water and a good shower. The bed, sofa etc were comfortable. The location is peaceful and easy to visit many attractions e.g. coast, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds etc ...

The property

You're welcomed into the homely open plan living/kitchen/dining room with stairs rising to the first-floor landing with a double bedroom, a dressing room and a shower room. Outside there's a gravelled garden with a table and chairs for you to sit and relax in the fresh air. There's off-road parking and many lovely walks nearby, which you can enjoy with your dog as two small/medium well-behaved dogs are allowed at Seafarers. Ground Floor Living/Kitchen/Dining Room The front door opens into a cosy open plan room with underfloor heating and carpeted stairs to the first floor A comfy two-seater sofa and blanket box (coffee table) are positioned so you can enjoy programmes on the flat-screen TV with a Netflix which sit on the bookcase, There's also a stereo with CD player for your entertainment. The kitchen/dining area has an antique pine table and two chairs and a dresser well stocked with crockery. The fitted kitchen units have an integrated dishwasher, electric hob and oven, a fridge-freezer, a microwave and a Nespresso coffee maker. There is also an integral drinking water filter tap. First Floor Carpeted stairs rise to the landing with access to the bedroom, dressing room (both also carpeted) and bathroom. Bedroom A lovely light south-facing bedroom overlooking the garden, furnished with a double bed, bedside tables with lamps and a deep cupboard with rail for your clothes and cases. Dressing Room A convenient multi-purpose room with dressing table with stool and chair with a Velux window above, making it ideal for doing your makeup or using as a desk if you need to do a spot of work. There's additional storage in the wardrobe. Bathroom The quaint sitting-length bath has a hand shower over and shower screen and there's a WC, washbasin, heated towel rail and natural light from the Velux window. Outside This Suffolk country cottage has a small south-facing gravelled garden with a bistro-style table and chairs, and two allocated off-road parking spaces directly outside the gate. Two small/medium dogs (it'll simply be a tight squeeze for big dogs!) are allowed to stay and there are plenty of great walks in the neighbouring countryside.

Fressingfield is a charming rural village resting between Diss and Southwold in Suffolk. It enjoys a picturesque rural location and has a small population with just a few shops and a pub. You can enjoy a quick pint in the pub and stock up on some essentials at the convenience store here before heading off to explore the nearby area. Within easy reach of the village are the bustling market towns of Diss, Halesworth and Harleston with Lowestoft, Southwold, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh also not far. There is a range of attractions and activities including a visit to Oak Hill Vineyard, Camel Park Oasis, Wingfield Castle, Laxfield and District Museum and Flixon Hall, all within a short drive.
