    “The property via instructions and satnav were easy to find.”

    On arrival you walk up the wooden stairs to a small decked seating area, this could with some maintenance. Inside the lodge we found it to be bright and airy. A welcome pack was provided, much appreciated. Would suggest providing a couple of egg cups and breadboard. The bed a Queen size was VERY comfy and warm. All linen and towels fresh and clean. Lounge area was also very comfortable. Overall we would recommend the lodge and we would go back.

Halesworth 6.7 miles.

Laxfield is about half-way between the Suffolk market towns of Halesworth and Framlingham, just 40 minutes' drive from the coast at Southwold or Aldeburgh. Just off the main road, called The Street, lies the school and pre-school, the village hall and the Baptist chapel. In the centre, near the wonderful All Saints Church and the historic Guildhall are a thriving modern Co-op store and two charming pubs. Close by, Halesworth is full of character, with old buildings, a weekly market held on a Wednesday and a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants.
