“The property is situated in the grounds of the hosts home, which are quite considerable with a pond, very large grassed area and other ex farm use buildings plus a rough grassed tennis court if you want a knock about.”
The hosts are very warm and friendly and allow you full use of the garden and surrounding area. On entering the property, the main downstairs area which comprises a kitchen diner and lounge area, the first thing that hit us was an amazing air of calmness and serenity, the stress of the journey here ( 7 hours ) just melted away. The master bedroom had an emperor size bed which was incredibly comfortable, pillows were also very comfy. The property is in a very rural location so it is beautiful and quiet, no passing traffic, or anything really, as it is at the bottom of a farm track but this is the properties appeal, a total chill out and de-stress rental. My only real negative for this rental would be the poor security on the external doors and renters should understand that the properties appeal of a quiet isolated location also means you need to drive to go to pubs, shops etc.
Overall though a highly recommended location for a rural break.
