Clock Tower

The Clock Tower is a delightful retreat at the end of a long drive in the grounds of Columbine Hall, a historic medieval manor house on the outskirts of Stowupland, Suffolk. It overlooks the moat that surrounds the Hall and offers a peaceful escape for couples who are free to wander in the Hall’s renowned 5-acre garden for walks and picnics. There is also a small separate enclosed courtyard for the Clock Tower’s exclusive use furnished with table and chairs where you can savour a quiet morning coffee, an evening glass of wine or alfresco dining. Two well-behaved pets are welcome.

This single-storey studio provides a tranquil base for exploring the surrounding area. Inside, you’ll find a bright and thoughtfully arranged open-plan living space. The sitting area is perfect for relaxing beside the woodburning stove. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, hob, kettle, toaster, washing machine and microwave —ideal for preparing delicious meals to enjoy at the dining table. At the end of the day, retreat to the inviting double bed for a restful night’s sleep. The sleek bathroom features a bath with overhead shower and a heated towel rail, adding a touch of comfort to your stay.
