The Stables is a beautiful bungalow, we found it very comfortable.

Our hosts Paul and Tammi live in the adjacent building and were great. The bungalow is very spacious. We learnt it was built about 5 years ago, so all the furniture and appliances look like new. The location of The Stables is a few minutes drive from a main road, but you can't hear any traffic noise. It's ideally situated for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk.

We had a wonderful stay.

The property is lovely and in great condition, in a beautiful part of the country. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the homemade cakes on arrival, plus the milk and wine in the fridge were an unexpected bonus. The hot tub was well-used and a great size, beds very comfortable. Could do with some curtains or blinds in the kitchen area to give some privacy at the front door but also to block out the sun as it can get warm when the doors are closed, and a shelf in the shower would be useful, but these are minor things. I would highly recommend the property and would happily visit again on the future.

Immaculately clean. Very friendly and approachable owners. The property has everything you need, the owners left us a welcome pack and freshly baked cupcakes which went down lovely. Hot tub was absolutely gorgeous & the best one we have been in. Honestly this place is absolutely stunning, if you are looking for a place to stay in the bury/Diss area this is a must.

Wonderful stay at The Stables.

The accommodation was perfect, amazing high ceilings, well thought out floor plan, a kitchen that made cooking a full Christmas meal a breeze and the most comfortable beds we have slept in a rental. Despite Storm Darragh we still made use the wonderful hot tub, unfortunately due to the storm we didn’t explore the area but will definitely return to explore. Paul is an amazing host, so friendly and you could tell he wanted to ensure we had the best experience and finally the welcome pack was so thoughtful.

We had a wonderful 2 week holiday at the Stables and could not fault any part of the accommodation or the facilities.

Where else would you be able to have a totally private garden fully equipped with furniture and hot tub. The accommodation inside was equal to a five star hotel but with the benefit of the total space just for your use. The area was peaceful and everything you could imagine for a small hamlet and a place that most would love to live in. Our hosts Tammi and Paul were friendly, charming and informative. It was a perfect location for travelling to places such Bury St Edmonds, Southwold and of course a trip on the river to see the Norfolk Broads. There were numerous places to eat and we ate at The White Horse Inn and had fish and chips from the local shop in Badwell Ash both of which were in the next willage. As a famous actor once said..... Really great little staycation for the family, with plenty of games & laughter.

We had an amazing few days away for New Year!

The stables was a perfect place to stay. A proper retreat away from hussle of modern life. The stables was well equipped, cosy and the hot tub was a bonus. Highly recommended!

Spent Christmas at The Stables and couldn’t fault it.

Warm, cosy and spacious with everything we could ever need. A lovely welcome package on arrival and Paul and Tammi couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The beds were so comfortable and the place was so quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend.

This was our second stay at the stables and again it didn’t disappoint, Paul & Tammi are the nicest people you could wish for and nothing is too much trouble.

The stables are comfortable, clean and peaceful - even with the motocross event….which we loved!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house was well equipped and spacious, the beds were comfy, there was ample secure parking right by the front door and it was peaceful at night. There are many attractions within a short drive and there is a excellent supermarket in the nearby village. Our hosts were very welcoming, and we appreciated the home baking, flowers, milk, wine and beer.

Absolutely beautiful place.

We had an amazing time. The host's Paul and Tammi are so helpful and welcoming . The place was spotless, with everything you need. Just cannot find one negative thing to say. Don't hesitate to book you will not be disappointed, what a wonderful weekend we had. Hopefully will return one day.
