Ideallic setting and comfortable little cottage. Second visit to the property and would happily go again.

Ideal for base to tour suffolk plenty of walking nearby the garden was a delight with birds of all species.

The hosts were on the ball and very friendly and loved to have a chat. George the dog was very placid even when our little hound kept barking at him. Highly recommended

Comfortable accommodation, clean and well equipped.

The layout is slightly unconventional to promote accessibility, but so few places offer the opportunity for people with access needs to enjoy a cottage holiday. Very friendly host who was helpful without being intrusive. Good base for sightseeing. Ducklings on the pond were a lovely bonus!

The cottage has a lovely view over the back garden and the very large pond.

Lovely doggy walks over the surrounding countryside and plenty of places to visit within an hours drive. Bury st Edmunds market is unmissable. Spacious and well appointed accommodation. Owners were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return next year.

Garden great for birdwatching with a pond at the end. Accommodation is ideally situated for visiting various National Trust properties in the area, as well as coastal towns like Southwold. Close to Bury St. Edmunds Cathedral & town. Lavenham well worth a visit with its timber framed houses. Garden great for birdwatching with a pond at the end. Very relaxing week. Excellent Cottage, well stocked with kitchen equipment, warm and comfortable.

It was also spotlessly clean and would certainly recommend to anyone wishing to explore this lovely area of the UK.

Kingfisher is a semi-detached one-bedroomed bungalow on a country lane just outside Wattisfield, on the way to Walsham-le-Wliiows.

It has a small back garden with a biggish pond. The leather recliner chair in the lounge is no longer there and has been replaced by a deep freeze! ...There is an armchair, which is very comfortable. It was a factor in me choosing the property, because I get an intermittent pain in my right leg, which recurred over Christmas and it was better for me to sleep in a comfortable chair than in bed! However, on the last night of my five-night stay my leg was slightly better, so I slept in the bed, which was very comfortable. I had no problems with the oven, but the hob was AWFUL! ...I couldn't get it to work. I have stayed in a lot of cottages over the last ten years and never had this problem anywhere else. There were no instructions for the hob and I gave up trying to make it work. I only wanted it for a fried breakfast, but I brought cereal as a plan B. The cottage is near Bury St.Edmunds and fairly centrally located within East Anglia. There was snow on the last night, so I took the opportunity of visiting Great Yarmouth in the snow and I also went to the Thetford Forest area.

Kingfisher is comfortable and well equipped.

Cindy and her husband were friendly and helpful. The cottage is ideally situated to explore Suffolk and Norfolk and is in a peaceful rural setting. Would be happy to return or recommend to others.

Ideally located for exploring the Suffolk/Norfolk border area. Lucinda and Paul were excellent hosts and we had a great time here. The garden is a lovely little peaceful "oasis" of wildlife

We enjoyed our stay at the property helped by the host who was happy to assist with any problems.

The beds were not very comfortable and a fan to help with cooling should be provided. The layout in terms of location of dining table and the television could be improved. However we did enjoy our holiday and it’s a great area to explore.

I had a lovely time in Kingfisher, I was looking for somewhere to relax and spend some quiet days and that is exactly what I got.

The cottage was clean, warm, well stocked, bed really comfy. Lots of places to walk. Owners on site were helpful - would definitely like to go back again.

Great rural setting overlooking a garden with a pond and loads of visiting birds. Ideal for anyone with mobility needs as there is level access including a wet room shower. We would highly recommend.

Kingfisher is a really lovely cottage.

Lucinda and Paul are very friendly hosts and a welcome tray of homemade cake and coffee was much appreciated. Located within easy reach of Diss and Bury St Edmunds and many places of interest within easy travelling distance. The small patio and garden with birdfeeder is quite idyllic with the lovely pond at the bottom of the garden. The cottage has everything one could need for their holiday. We were lucky to have fabulous weather and look forward to a return visit.

The cottage and the surrounds were beautiful, and we could have watched the birds in the garden for hours. Our dog settled straight in - home from home. And our field and woodland walks were great for us all. We met lots of lovely people and dogs for ours to play with.

The cottage was immaculate, everywhere was clean and fresh and the wet room was amazing. Lucinda is doing a great job and she is a lovely friendly lady.

This was the most relaxing holiday we have ever had.

The view from the lounge to the garden and to the pond and trees is so beautiful. We watched the birds enjoy the surrounding and food in the feeders. There are some lovely walks to enjoy with fields that your dog can be let off of the lead. The cottage itself is of a good standard and spotless. Recliner chair was a lovely surprise, I had many sleepy afternoons in it. Lucinda, and George the dog, made us very welcome and were only nextdoor if needed. I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending this cottage to friends and family

Perfect for a relaxing few days away and visit east coast

A perfect location for visiting the many attractions nearby, e.

g Owl Sanctuary and Bressingham Steam Railway Museum. Lovely comfortable cottage, ideal for a couple. Beautiful secluded garden with a pond at the end where we could watch the ducks. One evening we had a power cut, (nothing to do with our hosts), but we were presented with a box of chocolates for the inconvenience. Would definitely recommend Kingfisher Cottage if you are going to Norfolk.

Maybe provide a small spinner, we were lucky it was so hot the little bit of washing we had dried I no time.

Its not a complaint just an suggestion....... The property was great, beds very comfortable and the garden was a joy including the duck coming up to say hello or was it food he wanted?☺ Owner was very helpful and easy to talk to.Best bit !!! There were no stairs. Great holiday enjoyed every minute.....you can publish if you can delit about the spinner

We had a lovely stay (six nights) at Kingfisher Cottage.

It is very cosy, clean and comfortable - just right for two adults and a dog. It is in a very quiet rural area, but with easy access to major roads. We had some great days out exploring Suffolk and Norfolk, but we were just as happy to stay 'home' at the cottage with it's lovely garden, Smart TV and easy Wi-Fi access. We were made to feel very welcome by Lucinda, and the home made scones and jam were delicious. A perfect start to a perfect stay. We would definitely recommend.

A cosy cottage set in beautiful countryside.

We found Kingfisher Cottage to be a tranquil retreat with everything we needed. The hosts were friendly but not intrusive and it was good to know they were approachable and only next door. We will definitely be going back.

It was a last minute booking, but I am not sorry for my choice. Excellent, comfortable holiday bungalow. Very kind owners next door, ready to help if/when necessary. While being suitable for less able persons it also has the advantage of a beautiful garden with a large pond. Stepping out, find a secluded spot on the terrace, surrounded by this beautiful garden and the smell of roses. Enjoying the peace and quiet...until the ducklings come nibbling your toes because they need to be fed (they think). This bungalow is in the middle of the countryside yet only half hours drive away from several towns and 1 hour away from the coast. So lots to do and see. Also a very good butcher and pub only 5 minutes drive away. I recommend!

This was a wonderful cottage for a disabled person.

When looking for accommodation they are far from considered. The garden was suffering through lack of rain, however, we were amazed at the amount of birds that resided in it. We will return at some point.

We loved our stay, it was lovely to get away and just chill out and forget about busy lives back home.

The accommodation was really comfortable and clean.

Host was so helpful and the garden just exceeded anything that could be described. So many different kinds of birds and the bird feeders constantly kept full. Somedays we could have just sat and enjoyed the birds and the large pond just down the path. We left feeling so refreshed.

Kingfisher cottage is in a great location centrally in East Anglia so drive to most of the coast is about an hour away.

Holiday was good.

Only issue was unexpected addition of an extra £10 on total cost after I’d paid full price as advertised. As it was a late booking I had to pay the extra to get contact details of property and there was no opportunity to ring to discuss as nobody answering phones. Very shoddy practice by Sykes. The cottage was as advertised and we had a lovely week.

It was a lovely location, nice little garden,good mix of flowers, and lots of birds, not forgetting the "DUCKS" in the pond, a good base for the area.

Our stay in the clean and comfortable Kingfisher Cottage was really enjoyable.

Very friendly hosts made our holidays a real success, no matter if we needed help with a flat tyre or arranging a visit to Sandringham. They always knew how to make us feel welcome.

The garden at this cottage is a particular gem.

The cottage isn't cramped at all and it's in lovely, peaceful surroundings with open aspect onto a wildlife pond where we watched so many different types of birds. It's equipped with everything you could possibly need and more (even a pack of cards) and all in all we had a very relaxing stay and were well placed to explore the Suffolk countryside. Thanks to the labradoodles for adding to the welcome! We'll be back.

The position of cottage was very good, we were able to have friends over, cottage very roomy and we'll equipped. Would definitely stay again could not fault anything.

Great small cottage.

Ideal for us octogenarians. The ducks with their 12 ducklings added to our enjoyment. We will return at a time when the local farmers are not firing off their bird scarers.The warm welcome we received was much appreciated.
